If I remember correctly, this was the release show for The Fall Of Troy's album "Manipulator" in 2007. Tera Melos was the opener. Might give another go at touching up the audio someday. I could do a MUCH better job now than what I did 10 years ago.
I remember converting the old upload to mp3 and I listened to it over and over while on public transit. The song that begins at 24 min I believe is called "Even The King has to wash his hands"...someone uploaded an edited version with weird panning if I remember correctly and I've been wanting to find the original version from this video for a while. Thanks for the upload. I found this video that my friend took at the Tera Melos/Foxy Shazam/Deerhunter/Fall of Troy in Atlanta back in 2008 that I had uploaded to an old account. Pretty fun to see TM back in that era, cheers! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mgce9mQwMz8.html
It is always shocking for me to see how passive and almost dead the audience is in almost all Tera Melos shows, while I barely can hold off myself from starting to jump around. I've read comments how many people simply didn't understand at the time such music, but I find it hard to believe, especially when Tera Melos were playing alongside with Fall of Troy. It is also funny to see Tera Melos sometimes literally scaring the audience doing jumps to the crowd while behaving crazy.
I feel the same ive been to a couple tm shows and tfot shows. tfot shows always thrashed and its definitely the energy of their music and lyrics (tfot) that makes people want to go nuts their rhythms are a little easier to handle than TMs as well especially during tms earlier days before nick started to really sing and simplify their music. A funny thing happened once when tm came to my town they played with ttng and during ttngs set the crowd was happy and moving singing along. When tm came up it was dead silent. Idk what it was its like people were intimidated or something. So weird. Nick even made some kind of annoyed remark like "hi nick!" Maybe in response to the crowds silence. Never came back to my city after that show lol.
@@heathsousa5002 something like that you can tell these last songs are a bit loose but the ideas were there you can definitely hear that repeating weird circles riff which is probably the only thing that survived.
