Hi, Reaper is great when it is about pressure, it is super agressive based class, but when you need to come on a pure 1v1 situation where people try hard their life while using thing like : Block, Backstab, Grab, Healing skills, Anti-stun/stag, it become very hard time to get your win as a reaper. In melee battleground it is the love, used your Shadow Reaping Buff, and spam AOE on the field while making so much dammage to many people, and have easy to move for not getting CC. But in a 1v1, against class like Berserker, Lancer, Warrior, good brawlers, and valkyrie, it is quite difficult. Like most of these class have great 1v1 abilities who allow them the regen their life with time, or have hard burst stun combo. So overall, in Fraywind Canyon/Corsair/PK reaper is a godly class, but when it is about 1v1, you really need to clearly outplay and outsmart your ennemy, because you will not get help by reaper class in a 1v1 (Good player vs Good player)

Hey just started playing reaper on console and these videos are a great help. One question. In Tera PvP do crowd control effect diminish if u use them over and over? So if you hit someone with let's say 3 staggers is the 3rd one shorter than the 1st? Hopefully you can find time to answer. Keep the work up.
No, all gonna have the normal effect. Just it is not possible to make 2 staffer too much faster in a row, like if you stag someone, if you use a secodn stack suepr fast after, it gonna dammage but not stag, but still possible to make a stag, and then a second stag for keep the ennemy impossible to make anything, but need a perfect timing. Then if an ennemy in Knockdown on the ground, you can not stag or stun it (It not gonna have any effect). but you can perfectly stun someone 100% hp to 0 % hp with a stun combo for sure
Only warrior have enough stun for 100% to 0% a player, but this is a full mono target class, so kinda useless in massive fight, they are like make for little fight 1v1 / 3v3. And reaper can 100%-0% some with a stunlock, but need to have use the Reaping Slash buff, and have nice gear with atk speed/reduction cooldown for make it work

I love your video's even though I've only watched your reaper pvp vid i loved it. I just had a question what is your rotation even though i only do pvp now (on console so not many pvp'rs unless in highwatch) but it's brutal and i wanted to know what it was. Thanks in advance.
The combo I use is kinda lmost the same : I dodge BEHIND ennemy, use 1. Pendulume Strike (for apply a stag effect who gonna cancel the ennemy attack, and making unable to move for 0.5sec) and getting a bit of distance in his back 2. Cable steb, when the ennemy gonna received my stack, he will not be able to make anything for dodge my cable steb stun, so I gonna be grab on him 3. Smite, for apply a 3.5seconds stun and I get sure I am on his back, if not I move fast then use the smite 4. Death spiral (low dammage and no special effect, but I need to do it for being able to use a fast Grim Strike) 5. Grim Strike (for dps) 6. Death spiral (this skill can be use twice within 5seconds, so I just use it for extra dammage since my atk speed is very fast, +48) 7. Sudnering Strike (gonna be my last attack on the stun ennemy, gonna make him hard dammage, and knockdown him) ----- The ennemy will be Knockdown on the ground---- 8. Dodge, for cancel the end of Sundering strike aniamtion 9. Soul Reversal (gonna throw o toxic orb who gonna stay on him for 9 seconds, and making him some dammage eact 2 seconds) 10. Soul Reversal explosion (for explode the orb and swap our body + stunnign again the ennemy) 11. Cable step (a secodn stun on the stunned ennemy , he can not avoid it for sure) 12. Shadow burst (dps + kd) Usually ennemy gonna be dead, and kinda impossible to avoid this full combo if I succes to land my 1st attack , because all his based on stag and stun, so it is my perfect pvp combo, un-missable. and even if ennemy survived, he will be KD and his retaliate will be in cooldown, so gfree to another death spiral + sundering kill
Hey man...I'm new to this game how do u get pvp gear and what level or how to unlock those arenas..not stupid Kuma stuff? And where can i buy PVP Specific gear? What is also top gear atm. (Console ps4).
For the gear just up lvl 65, then a npc at Highwatch gonna give you a full set of lvl 65 Gear, and so with this gear, you will need to press T, and upgrading it step by step to make it better, more you gonna upgrate it, more it gonna become a stronger, and there is no specific PVP Gear, all gear are same BUT the statistic you can choose on your weapon gonna modify your viability on PVE or PVP (for pvp on weapon need to choose , 9% atk speed, 4.5% atk speed, 7.2% cooldown, 6% dammage). That is for PC version... For PS4, I think your are on a patch lower to mine, so I don't know because I did not have played at this moment :s

Thanks for your comment :) You can find my Mass fight Glyph here : www.essentialmana.com/glyph-calc/#re65:c13:d03:e5:f26:g02:h24:j01:l1:m0:p012 If you feel very confident you can swap the retribution glyph and add more critical rade on the shadow Burst :) And for dueling I like to remove glyph from shadow burst (I just keep the atk speed glyuph) and removing retaliate for adding on the dodge (cooldown dodge + boosting speed moving by 50 for 2sec after each dodge) that allow me to moving a lot and be more annoying in duel
In Tera, Heal class (myst and priest) Will never be able to kill someone, it is Pure Healing class. Priest is mix with healing skill and defencive support skills, so in 1v1 it have such good defencive pannel that they can never die in 1v1. Or maybe without a class use brooch + full buff + ultimate buff skill. So sadly if you aim to kill players with a priest, tera is not the game for making it :/ Only dps and tank can kill
Have fun so :D Just keep in mind if you choose a healer class, you gonna be 100% support, you have to forget about having some kills :p Or maybe last hiting an ennemy with 2-3% HP haha
Ping count on this as well. You can have all the etching and rolls but if your ping is bad (110 or higher, forget it) ofc a good PC can help you with FPS

on this video, I was playing on that server since about 3 weeks, so my gear was kinda very very low compare to the top tier :p but overall, I my egar was kinda better than most of ppl on this server, because the server was only 3 weeks old, and i played like 12hours + per day, so I was kinda 2x time more bulky and better dps than most of people on that video :D. So not overgeared, but way better gear compare to others on that time. If you wanna see skilled video, you can check my 1v1 video where I duel some Overgear people, while I use the tier 1 basic gear
I just quit BDO and im looking for an MMO with a competitive pvp, and got surprised by TERA. So since im new, i know nothing about the game, but there are a few classes that caught my attention, being those slayer, reaper, brawler and valkyrie. I really like skill based classes with high skill ceiling, aswell as classes with mobility to deal with numerous enemies at the same time. If you can (and want), would you mind recommending me one of the classes i listed and why it's (in your opinion) funnier or better than the others? (i guess you'll recommend me reaper, but since im not really into this i dont really know how other classes work and if they would fill my necessities) Thank you very much ! ^^

Salut l'ami. J'espère que tu vas bien. Je t'avais posté un message par apport à ta Reaper sur un autre de tes vidéos. Du coup tu m'as dit que ta Reaper avait 48% de vitesse d'attaque. J'ai suivi tes conseils. J'ai les deux Speed sur l'arme ainsi que l'eau forte énergétique 3. J'ai la vitesse d'attaque sur les gants plus l'eau forte énergétique aussi. Il y a la vitesse d'attaque sur le collier. Bref tout ça pour dire que je suis à 46% et il me manque donc visiblement 2%. Pourrais tu m'aider ?

Hi bro, actually, I m a bit divided aswell on the question, I have try full crit, full power, mixed... and still very divided. I guess a mix of crit/power like 60% power and 40% crit it kinda a good balanced to go for :)
as the zerk can kinda one shoot so many thing if he can get a critical in the back, I guess maximised his crit rate may be a good idea, sicne the dammage is already 100k+ if crit on the back. And when I was mai nzerk about 3 years before, I was definetly full critical rate... but right now the meta have kinda change, in pvp most of the players are kinda playing FULL POWER, or like 80% power for 20% critical, on ANY CLASS. (expect thigns like brawler, gunner, and valkyrie who are definetly 100% power) But since I can not make the test and experience it by myself, I should advice you to follow the current meta where the power is higher than the crit rate
Haha, link me just 1 moment on the video where the spacebarre is used :p ? I play this class since 3 years, I know it perfectly on any situation, the only time I click on spacebarre is for the Retaliate. It's not random smashing buttons, all is predict and perfectly skilled :) I invite you to check my other 1v1 video on reaper that will maybe make you change your mind. in 1v1 especially, I not miss any stun or skills, for the simple fact 100% of what I do is pure preditct and anticipation, always stagger apply before getting a stun, for a 100% succes stun hit, then perfect stun combo :) Random has not his place in my gamestyle. Usually I just delete random non-constructive comment like you do, but today I'm in the mood to answer and give an explanation, Now let's see if it is usefull to have conversation with an, obviously, easy hater guy.
