I think Crawford notice that the Spence fight is the mega fight so that's probably the reason he want Thurman first. Get the WBO, fight Thurman for the WBA, WBC and if he get all three that will be a BIG undisputed fight with Spence. Wishful thinking

I see a future hall of famer right here. he's doing it like a great. he unifies a division, becomes undisputed, now on to the next to accomplish the same. reminds me of Trinidad some what. today boxers get a belt and they satisfied with that. to be called a true champion of a division one has to have at least 2 of the major sanctioning bodie belts. to me right now at 147 "one time" is the champion of the division. Spence hasn't done anything special, neither has Horn. but I see history in the making in Crawford. I've seen all of these guys fight.....this dude is special! I have to support any puertorican he comes across with, I would not bet any money though.

In my opinion as long as Crawford is under contract with Bob Arum there will be no Spencer or Thurman fight. I think the main problem is the the main Promoter's fighter will usually win the close fights. Bob Arum had to step aside for the Mayweather vs Pacquiao to be made. Translation, Mayweather would win in a close fight. I thought Mayweather won the fight but if Bobby was the Promoter, Mayweather would have lost the decision. That is why those fights will be hard to make, in my opinion.

Skills and IQ wise crawford is better than anyone at 147,Spence and Thurman are naturaly bigger so it will defintly make it a good fight.

It won't happen no time soo. The best Welterweights are with Al Haymon (PBC, Showtime). Crawford is with Bob Arum & Top Rank & Don't like the competition. Both Spence and Crawford appear to be very conscious of the fact that the possibility exsist, that one of them could lose and or lose badly to the other. The both seem reluctant to elaborate on a potential match up. I'm beginning to believe if they fight, it may not happen anytime soon.
