Crawford stopped Mean Machine, and he easily beat Madrimov. Who said Madrimov won? A win for him was to survive and not get knocked out. The only reason why Crawford got touched was because he had to initiate something, Madrimov was content with just throwing faints the whole night. I believe that Terence Crawford, in his heart, 100% believes that he can defeat Canelo Alvarez, no doubt about it. I also think that if these two guys fight, Crawford won't seem as small compared to Saul as everybody thinks. Terence could easily weigh 170 on Fight Night and Canelo 175. Crawford is a cerebral dynamic wizard in the ring and he would absolutely go in to a fight with canelo believing he will win, But Canelo is an immovable object and has all the technical and intellectual boxing ability that bud has albeit that bit slower but he also is an absolute tank and breaks younger bigger men 20lbs heavier than him just by hitting forearms and shoulders alone, Bud will move around and look slick for a little while but eventually canelo will crumble him physically

I have Crawford by UD or MD here’s my reasoning. 1. Crawford has a 4 inch reach advantage on Canelo. I think Crawford could use his reach advantage similar to how Bivol was doing with his jab in his fight against Canelo. 2. Crawford can fight at either southpaw or orthodox which could throw off Canelo’s angles and timing. Canelo is however the naturally heavier fighter, which does give him an advantage in the ring. In the end, I think if Crawford utilizes his jab well and doesn’t try and trade blows with Canelo, I think Crawford would win by just simply outboxing him. However, if Crawford does indeed try to win by knockout instead of trying to outbox him, then Crawford gets slept.

For those that don't know Terrence mostly fought at Junior welterweight and Welterweight. The most he's weighted is 154 pounds. Canelo has fought Light Heavyweight multiple times and even won a title there. "Bud" is perhaps the most skilled fighter today, but weightclasses exist for a reason.
