I have to admit I prefer the smaller portions of Terence talks. He ideas are so heavy and profound it takes me many days to think them through. If I go in for a 1-2h lecture I feel I miss out on most of it. Ask Gemma what she thinks.

My friend and I describe the current Internet as an aggressor. Some golem squatting on my desk whispering enticing and courrpting things. It seems engineered at this point to be as upsetting as possible.

How do you mean that? Terence would totally be LGBTQ supporting and wasn't a racist bigot, so he would've used polite language like preferred pronouns. He was also against the war on drugs and the use of police powers, so he would've likely sympathized with BLM. I think he would've seen the cambridge analytica mess and the trump bs for what it was; a propaganda campaign conducted by the wealthy (including a certain wealthy, thieving russian) to control the planet. Maybe you should listen to more of his lectures? Listen, I understand. When a person is really invested in an ideology, every little thing someone they like says gets cherry picked so that what is said gets rearranged to the point of absurdity. That person then decides the speaker is supporting the same ideas and is "on their side". It's like when that fat turd rush limbaugh proclaimed that LOTR was clearly about the good right wing against the orcs of the left. Tolkien was an environmentalist minded anti-fascist who would've lost his mind over that obvious lie.
