Welcome to 'Philosophy Live'.
Each Friday during the term a tutor from the Practical Philosophy course will present a philosophic gem which we hope will be of interest. Each session will be around 10-15 minutes long. Whether you have attended philosophy classes or not, all are welcome. The live sessions are recorded and can be watched at any time on the School of Philosophy and Economic Science’s Facebook page and here on RU-vid. The views expressed in these live videos are the personal view of the tutors rather than the School of Philosophy and Economic Science.
The School of Philosophy and Economic Science offers courses in practical philosophy and economics with justice as well as other subjects. It aims to approach philosophy in a practical way, encouraging students to apply philosophy in their lives. The School also introduces a mindfulness-type exercise leading eventually to mantra meditation.
