I've uploaded a second video of me re-beating this level on stream which includes microphone audio and an input display :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z0crMWw1NXI.html (It's unlisted)
The ending just gave me an Rain World vibe, this level is might br one of the hardest just because these slope jumps are LITERRALY impossible on mobile, not just because of that but because its kinda 'you dont have were to see or where to do' is just be fast and some cant do that
Ok now that ive seen the whole thing, unsuprisingly another banger, the whole vibe of this level is insane, i also love how different it is compared to your "usual" works. Really looks like youve went out of your comforts with this while keeping the usual quality. Big big fan
hands down best platformer i have seen so far, even though i cant beat it and wont be able to for a while. i look forward to what you make next this is absolutely stunning
Beat it! It was INFURIATING to learn but super fun at the same time haha. I hope more levels like this come out soon! All the people who don't want to learn the tech are overrating the difficulty so that's fun too lol
@@ShowMe7. It works every time if you do it right. Just jump while you're holding the direction of the downslope and hold back, it should be consistent, although it takes awhile to get good at.
@@ShowMe7. It gets consistent if know all of the nuances. A lot of things affect your slope jump other than the left right thing. You might think you are doing the same thing each time and it only works sometimes, but I guarantee you there is something you did differently that you didn't realize.
@@kennyduncan7 and some jumps have to be done ever so slightly differently (ex: regular slope neutral vs. slope neutral over a spike rotated 45 degrees to fit on the slope. i would know. checkpoint 6 destroyed me)
Level is cool, thought the song sounded familiar, then I realized that it's used in Technoblade's first potato war video at the end with the jerry duping 😂
Finally! Been waiting for levels to use this. Did robtop update slope physics? You seem to be "hanging" on the slopes longer than you were previously able to (if you spent a lot of timr sliding down and jumping on a slope, it used to be impossible to gain height) referring to 1:23
@@khobzaaaaI get what he's doing, but sliding down used to kill your momentum and make the trick impossible. I guess it's easier now though with the physics change
It only feels unfair because you don't know how to do it consistently yet. This level is supposed to be difficult, it makes sense to use a difficult to master mechanic.
I agree with others, fuck the game play 😂, but this levels design (and plot in a way) is amazing, imo this deserves a legendary rate. The atmosphere is just so well done
Great to see you experiment with new styles even temporarily. The "black hole" at the end is mesmerizing. Is the slope technique any different to speedtek or have you just found a way to consistent enough to pull it off every jump?
When you jump on a slope, a jump penalty is applied to you until you "reset" your slide *unless* you're holding towards the downward direction of the slope. So, you can chain "slope boosts" indefinitely, but this also means if you fail just one you die most of the time. Good luck!
tap in the downwards facing direction of the slope, jump while moving in that direction, and quickly release that direction and hold the upwards direction. this tricks the game into thinking you jumped off the slope while still being able to maintain your momentum and jump up the slope. it gets... somewhat consistent. never entirely.
