She's one of the most underrated actors ever, such an amazing performance in both T1 and T2, she was incredible in both movies, playing both the "scared deer caught in the headlights" and then in the second one playing a seasoned professional protecting her son, yet still emotionally very human and vulnerable. Amazing versatility, especially in the second movie. Movies now use too much CGI and hire the lowest bidder. Might work for a kids movie or romance or comedy, but it greatly takes away the real emotion if you want to make a film that's convincing and portrays just that. T1 and T2 are great films and nobody can deny that. And that musical score. I think I just jizzed in my pants. Truly amazing in every aspect.

When the first film came out, everyone wanted his handgun, which I believe was an AMT Hardballer Longslide. However, demand was so great that some dealers wanted a whopping $1,000 for one. And the laser sight? It was a prop but a few years later, technology improved and some were able to custom build one but the prices also $1,000, bringing the cost to $2k! Ouch. PS: the handguns Sarah used in T2 was NOT an AMT. I strongly believe it was a Detonics Scoremaster because of the barrel, which always sticks out about a quarter inch from the slide. Also, the slide had huge carved "channels" on the rear instead of finely cut serrations like on M1911 style handguns. I have heard of it being briefly available in a .451 Magnum cartridge! Owners said this was a bad idea because it overstressed the entire gun and made it prone to cracking.

Scene 5 is my favourite. Sarah's fear is all encompassing, (brilliant acting by Linda Hamilton), and the way she had to flip her feelings from fear and resentment to trust took unbelievable strength. Dr. Silberman's realisation that she was right all along was poetic justice.

My cousin always was like my mentor, my big brother even my own “terminator”. He always helped me with some tricky levels in computer games of Amiga 500 or MSX. That year, 1992, on December, my cousin died in a bike accident and I carried with his legacy. I felt alone because I’ve lost that protection and his helpful skills in gaming. Now, I am a computer administrator and recently I started a new business. I would like to travel back to the past and avoid his death to watch together Terminator 2 remastered with all its esplendor.

I love the fact that if you grew watching the first terminator. The hallway scene looked like two terminators was going to kill Sarah Connors son then her. But that's when the twist hits you when the original one says get down, boyyyyyyyy.!!!!!I lost my mind that day in excitement bro like he protecting him. But in that realization, it should you how strong the ducking t1000 is.

I originally believed that the terminator (skeleton one) is going to kill the kid. But I found the police man to be a bit odd since he was too mean (the humans ones are kinda polite) and he was almost expressionless.

This movie had it all, if the people behind the sequels understood it wasnt all about the effects, we cared about about the bond that builds In this film, Arnold at his peak,Linda hamilton as a psychotic badass, a revolutionary villain in Robert Patrick, and eddie furlong in his best performance which had insane special effects,( remember this was made in 1991) great chemistry, and a very emotional ending. There is no charecter development in the newer films, they are hollow, no one cares about them. James cameron was a real artist with a vision that still blows us away nearly 30 years later. I think dark fate will tank and than all should be done till they unearth 20 years later with Dwayne Johnson in his 60s, playing a T875, the thought is meant as a joke, but at this point is it too much to fathom these days

Combination of Robert Patrick, writing for him, special effects was... well, one of the kind, unmatched. They have basically overdone it, and few villains, if any, could hope to match it.

this film was WAY ahead of its time, the practical effects are so damn impressive like the exposed endoskeleton for example, with how limited the technology was back then they somehow managed to make everything believable that it was real

Gotta love a truly interesting and intelligently written script. This list is spot on. Each moment built up and the payload was better harder adrenaline pumping action. Plus everything felt like it was happening in real time. Fave movie of mine since age 10.

No one ever noticed why this is the best Sci Fi with the best CG achievement, the reason is that CG effects never seem to overcome or overwhelm the overall movie and every effect fits like a glove giving an impression as if it is real. The same could be said for the third one but the remaining three were just CG effects packages using terminator platform.

The cgi back in the day looks old now and 1 or 2 scenes look dated. But in the last 30 years of action/Sci fi movies there are only a couple that have come close to it. I love the prison break when he pushes the female guard along to floor, her little puppy like yelp is so funny. I still watch it regularly. BRILLIANT FILM 🎥
