I really wish I do not have to hear the non nuanced opinions about colonialism from podcasts I enjoy even for this short period anymore... Nobody is saying Africans shouldnt take responsibility but allow people ONE day to vent. Infact moving away from the emotional side, I currently reside in South Korea which is one of the most developed countries in the world and even up till today South Koreans still parade outside for reparations from Japan. There is a common opinion on who the common enemy is even though it is clear that some of the natives where part of the menace. But there is a political currency in holding that pov in the dynamics of international relations. Thank God we will be on to some new stuffs next time.

I was enjoying the program until you people started discussing racism and tribalism, one thing I can tell you guys is this, first, you as nigerians have no right whatsoever telling a professor who's family was affected during the war how to feel or react towards someone that was instrumental to their pain, you never lived that experience, so shut the fuck up, especially coming from other tribes makes it even more insulting, take for an example, you lost a loved one to an unrepentant cultists whom with the help of some influential people around him managed to denie and cover up the crime, never admitted to the fact nor had there been any form of justice nor remorse and you think it's easy to move on especially when that person forms the habit of reminding you of the past and how you can't do anything about it, better stick to your own experience and what you know, you sit your ass down hear in nigeria and you think you know better than the black communities who is still going through a very tough racial abuse from the white supremacist, and the only reason you think they should move on Is because Jay z or Kanye said so, it's like you guys have forgotten that everyone's experience in a struggle can not be the same, Jay and Kanye are made men so their perception towards some issues have changed since they are now rolling with the billionaires, they are now being strategic and political with regards to issues concerning the black community, throw them back to the trenches and see if their opinion won't change, Mr tolu, I dare you to take a trip to America... locate the black communities and repeat what you just said to them and see if they won't put a bu**et to your sk*ll, don't be "mr know all" learn to respect people's history and pain especially when the oppressors are yet to admit and make amends and more especially speak about your people the yoruba's and not the igbos, you as a presenter have no first hand information and experience which professor uju Anya has and you think you are in the position to question her reaction over queen Elizabeth's death, well I don't blame you Shaa. Maybe you should take a trip to asaba delta state and locate the victims of the massacre that occurred unprovoked during the Civil war, that way you will have a tip of what happened then which is still very fresh in people's heart, don't just sit there and be fast to comment on issues based on what your parents told you.
