That part has the same energy as one scene from "Sky High" where Layla is slapped by one of the cheerleaders and she says "Big mistake!" She uses her chlorokinesis power (like Terra's) to ensnare the cheerleaders.

I actually found so many things in the show that reminded me of CAOS, they may or may not have been references. Also, the actress who plays Bloom played Dorcas in CAOS.

I lived for her badass scenes. She stayed calm in the crisis moments and kicked it. The only change I want to see is her wardrobe being more badass

Finally a nuanced opinion! I’m glad your enjoying the show. I’ll freely admit I was on the hate boat, the first episode was the hardest to deal with because it was so unlike the original. But that’s only because I was looking at it as a reboot/remake, not as an adaption/being based off of the original. I think they’re doing an amazing job and while I’m still irked about a few things (such as the whitewashing), I think that this series has a lot of potential and I wouldn’t trade out what is present now. Terra is a badass sweetheart, though I think Musa is my favourite right now, her complications with her empathy intrigue me and her relationship with Sam is the sweetest thing. They mentioned that fairy’s can have more than one type of magic, so i theorise that maybe Musa will get access to air magic and be able to create soundwaves, and then maybe she will be able to mix it with empathy to make music with special enchantments. Just a theory, but I can’t wait to see more.

Yes, I agree. I hate the fact that the producer whitewash my beloved character from the cartoon, but I really do like the performance in here. Legit job though.

Right? I despise Riven *but* weirdly he has more chem with Terra than Musa imo. I love how the show is leaving room for the story to flow in all sorts of directions.

@@JaneDoe-kl5qp What? Are you dumb? If they wanted to make a winx series they should have had FLORA here. She’s a member of the main cast and as you can see none of the WHITE characters have been removed. Yet flora and musa have been white washed.

She got, she even deactivated her social account for months when the cast was leaked because of this, she created a new account yesterday.

Also the new little mermaid live action remake has a poc Ariel now, which I’m fine with as well. But, it only matters when a white person plays a fictional character, but I do wish they just stuck with the original characters to make it feel more like the original.
