Terra Nil: Reclaim The Wasteland - We're Painting The Wasteland Green! 

I live in an area that is both a desert and plains, so I know that they really aren't wastelands.

isn't the problem with a wide variety is that you either get too nuanced for proper gameplay or a lot of them are just copies of another in one way or another? or something along those lines, my head already hurts trying to think of this and putting those thoughts to words.

They do have deserts as a biome, and all of the different biomes I've encountered so far have a different method of creation

I think the temperature mechanic that's currently unused in the demo implies that in the full game we might be shifting stuff to other biomes.

Man, this just make me Imagine what terraforming planets in the future would look like. Mars and Venus. Imagine man made endless field of plains. Man-made desert, forest, mountains. Would a beautiful sight to witness.

Date seeds can grow after 2000 years of lying around. I suspect there are more plants like that.

VAWTs are actually significantly LESS efficient than HAWTs. They may be easier to maintain, but they aren't efficient. Their main benefits are ease of maintenance due to the Gearbox being at ground level and not needing any wind detection due to being Omni-directional. Thus, they can often be left in more remote locations as they don't require as much work. HAWTs, the traditional "against the wind" 3 bladed type, are much more reliable and significantly more efficient, but are much harder to maintain due to the Gearbox being hundreds of feet in the air.

@@yanindexmessenger it depends on the use case the massive HAWTs are more useful at pumping out a lot of power but they struggle with inconsistent winds, they're used for power grids because they generate a lot of power while they are in constant wind the VAWTs are more used for urban installations or places that have constantly changing wind directions, allowing them to give you more constant power but at a lower amount

@@theirishviking9278 Of course, as with most power sources, things are definitely situational. You wouldn't use a Hydroelectric plant in the most barren part of a desert.
