That pin and ramp design is the same as the Eaton/Harrop elocker, they can be problematic. I've seen a few where the pin has scored the ramp enough not to allow it slide enabling it to lock or unlock. The other issue of that design is each time you change direction it has to unlock for 1/3 of a rotation before it locks again. Not a major issue but one to be aware off.
