Do every player start on step 1 of each resource track on the beginning of the game ?! I have the computer version on Steam, and there everyone starts on step 0, if not stated otherwize.
All players start on resource step 0 when playing TM. Do you see that small red triangle symbol on the lower left on many of the cards? If you take away all those cards, then all players start on step 1 om all resource tracks.
Amazing game! Anyway, isn't there an contradiction between the info communicated from 1:22 (Corporate Era expansion) starting with zero production for each resources and the info conveyed from 3:03 , that production is added to the initial production of 1?
I do not see this contradiction. This tutorial is covering the standard game where you start with 1 extra initial production, plus whatever is stated on your corporation card.In a Corporate Era game, you start with 0 extra initial production, plus whatever is stated on your corporation card.
Thank you for the response, we understood and played the same way. I was confused, because the extra energy production for Thorgate corporation has been added to the initial production of 1 for the standard game, raising the energy production to 2 (3:04 in the video). Btw, the game is awesome, its my first 10 point game on its own right (without building on a loved theme) and I very much look forward to future expansions, new project- and corporation cards. Instant buy! :D
