This was great thanks - also Completely agree - the color space menu selection has gotten out of hand. It used to have about 3 options, which made a quick efficient selection. And these other options could go in the tool menu or something like that.
Exactly! For textures I basically just use sRGB or Non-Color. Still, I think the way the have it is probably best, rather than having multiple lists or different colorspace options in different parts of the program. I guess if it annoys me too many times, I'll write an opperator to filter the list :)
I think it's also just a matter of me getting used to some of the updates in v4. I haven't been using blender loads lately, so I need to just get familiar with a few of the changes that have been made!@@looseEdges
That's true for sure, it's a huge improvement overall. I had one of those 'how did I used to live without this' moments the other day when I used 3.6 to test a couple things and kept trying to type in the add menus @@motionforgecg
How difficult would it be to bake displacement with this setup? I do a lot of 3d printed dioramas and find that creating true displacement is often quite painful with most addons.
Currently, with v1.0, you would have to set up and bake it manually. However, I am working on an addon for the next update that should make baking displacement super simple. You can see a quick teaser of it at 16:26.
Nice! I'd already bought it several days ago but it's good to see it's moving in a direction that suits my purposes well. Keep up the excellent work! @@looseEdges
