To me, this song, especially live, transcends every other song that the Dead played... it hit me a couple years ago... I'd listened to it many times, but one night the flow just grabbed me and everything stood still... like the universe was channeling through this music... I don't know, but no other piece of music resonates at the same level as Terrapin played live

Terrapin Station is a overlooked beauty. Transitional stage for the band but is in my top 10! I truly never get tired of it. Not many share that designatiion.

The hair on my arms literally stood up the first time I heard Terrapin 30 years ago. I played it for my baby recently and it’s the most animated he’s ever been in his life- giggling and cooing… kinda unreal.

Im Grateful that I was lucky enough to see some of the Spring ‘77 tour as well as Englishtown. Even more so that so much of it is available online as well other media.

I love this song so much! So many great melodies, grooves, emotions in one masterpiece! And i'm just at the beginning of discovering their music. I also love Sugar Magnolia, Friend of the Devil, Shakedown Street, Box of Rain etc.
