I'd obviously choose the Xbox/PS4 version (the Switch is the lesser version due to its stability) because it's been updated consistently(delayed compared to PC though). But if I want to play the classic old gen versions, I'd say the PSVITA is the best because it's the same version as the 360/PS3 but mobile and still just as goodlooking. Plus being a handheld means I don't need to plug a big old console in.

This test is absolutely FLAWED. Mainly due to as someone whom has played the vita edition... These are basically LAUNCH RELEASE physical copies being played. Demo releases! As all of these versions have hammers and ledges, but PSVita, 3DS, 360, Wii U, and Ps3 Didn't get to 1.3. Wii U edition was released as a late life 1.2 release as it was released in 2016. ONE YEAR AFTER 1.3 ON PC. 1.2 Ran smoothly on PSVita, 360, and PS3, but the Wii U port was optimized as it would get. PSVita terraria is a portable ps3 version with control enhancements. This comparison isn't fair at all towards ALL as you are comparing 1.0 vs. 1.4 or higher!

This comparison review is TERRIBLE as it compares 1.0 on PSVITA, PS3, and 360, vs. 3DS which was a late 1.2 port, then current platforms are 1.4!!!! Of course the graphics got better!
