Hey, thanks a lot for showcasing my mod :) I'm glad you enjoyed it too 😁 I've been writing down suggestions from comments on how to improve the mod, and after watching your video, I'll defitively give some custom weakpoint behaviour to the EoW, WoF, Destroyer and Golem so they spawn in better places, or actually spawn (EoW and Destroyer should have some weakpoint randomly spread on their body). @@Forn83 They didn't bother to make a subclass since there are only 3 javelin weapons, of which Javelin and Bone Javelin deal ranged damage and Daybreak melee. But it behaves like a javelin and essentially is that, not a spear.
Javelin Definition: 'A light spear thrown in a competitive sport or as a weapon.' The fact that the javelin, bone javelin, Scourge of the corruptor and Daybreak don't count is very upsetting, especially with the Daybreak spear of light text.
Spears are items flagged as spears by developers Specifically, there is an "ItemID.Sets.Spears" array in the game code indicating which items are spears, and I use it as a reference Gameplay wise now, the daybreak doesn't play like a spear at all, and should be a ranged weapon if anything :/
I used this mod along with the throwing spear mod, and it seems that the weakpoint gets triggered depending on what direction the spear is facing. The throwing clorophyte partisan creates a large cloud and would trigger a weakpoint on an enemy that was behind me, so long as the spear was aimed in the direction of the weakpoint
Played this mod last week or so it's really fun and works with calamity mod as well and I don't how but the homing projectiles would sometimes got to the weakpoint instead lmao
hey necr0, i rlly like your videos and i hope that you will make the same type of video but with the calamity mod. I know it might take a while to make on calamity with these kind of chalanges but it would be pretty nice though
might be a dumb question but how come you weren't using an accessory slot for a lot of the game? (you were putting accessories in vanity slots as though you ran out of space so ig im just confused)
The emblems are from the Alchemist NPC mod. The one from the eye provides discounts for a few of the modded npcs and increases buff potion duration. while the green one from the wall is the charm of luck, it gives you better weapon reforges while in your inventory.
I've seen his game display the biome name as he enters it, but I can't find that option in game. Around 6:02 he enters the underground jungle and it pops up. Anyone know if that's an option in game or a mod? Great vid btw =D
Honestly this feels, really generic for a "All spears are reworked" tag. Like the spears feel almost the exact same except that there's a way to do extreme damage with them. Not exactly that interesting since gameplay is the exact same except you also want to get weak points now and again to do a bit high of damage
Well he does seem to have a mod that adds that bonus wing accessory slot, granting him one more accessory than usual. Wouldn't be surprised if there were other mods in there to soften the game
