Enjoy the Terraria credits viewed ingame, after killing the Moon Lord in the 1.4.1 update. I think that it is really cool that the game places your character in the final clip. A great finale to a great game.
I love how it says Markus notch person in the special thanks section. There is a secret menu text in Minecraft that says, “Have you tried terraria yet.” And the other way around for terraria
@@chefbezos3497 He didn't. He hadn't owned Minecraft after like two years of it's creation cuz he sold it. Minecraft and Terraria just adknowledge that each and others companies are doing a good job.
I thought of this being a thing before, where defeating moon lord will make credits appear, but I never knew it be like this, its so beautiful, and also I love the NPC scenes
I didn't want to spoil it for myself, but at the same time, I just needed to see the conclusion to my childhood. I hope it will be extra special when I get it myself!
The tax collector is a reference to Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, who becomes a lot friendlier at the end of the story. It could be a reference to that, although in the story it's because he's shown his unmourned death, not from being given a present
It is strange that I killed the ML many times in this version but didn't see this. I had to make a completely fresh playthrough (with a slightly older Journey char though) to see it.
@Crendial there is portal gun you can get from killing moonlord with 100% drop chance, which is reference to portal game by valve And also dont forget that u can buy companion cube pet from traveling merchant
Notch is there. I think this is because he put "Also try Terraria!" as a splash text in Minecraft, and terraria put "Terraria: Also try Minecraft" as one of its titles.
I don't like credits songs that loop as much, I feel like it should be one long piece. Probably why SMW's hit so hard. Still a good way to implement credits though
