This video is teaching me so much, I wouldn’t be surprised if you told me the time he goes to sleep, his diet, weight and what he does throughout the day when the player isn’t bothering him
Fuck I almost killed duke fishon but he killed me in phase 3 I forget that exist i thought he will hit me 2 time and teleported and do it again but it 3 hit in phase 3 too I thought I will kill him in expert mode before plantera
Uhh, Duke fishron is easy after golem, use the Tabi as an accessory and then you can use something like the Megashark and chlorophyte bullets for ez kill

Thanks man, this really helped me beat Fishron. I ended up having to grind for Tsunami a bit, but the Chain Gun + Chlorophyte bullets (which I didn't really think to use at first) were really useful. Great stuff man.
On expert mode I have never beat the moonlord without cheese/friends. I’ve beaten the Duke a few times but it is a very hard fight that you have to prepare for. (Unless you have post-moonlord gear, which is easy, solar eruption and S.D.M.G.)
@@grobeman Moonlord legs are a thing. Red had someone petition to make it and Yoraizor has concepts in mind. Journey's end is gonna shake up the game so much, you may need to mentally prep for updating past guides. Edit: Updated comment to clarify Moonlegs is not a boss, but a vanity.

Thank you for the guide! I used megashark with crystal bullets and shroomite armor. As a ranger, I was ecstatic to see that the treasure bag dropped both the fishron wings and the tsunami! That’s a 1.2% chance of happening, and I got it on my first attempt ^^ ❤️
There was this overpowered vortex beater glitch on console when 1.3 first came out and I killed about 10 duke fishrons at the same time in under 15 seconds
Thanks to you I beat him in expert mode. I’ve never done it before with pre moonlord gear ( either a it’s too hard or b i just forget/can’t be bothered) 22 HP clutch
Yep it took a long time but it's finally here, lol. Just getting back at it since moving in October, was a busy period. If you want chlorophyte bullets, combine 70 musket balls with 1 chlorophyte bar at a hardmode anvil, iirc. Repeat as necessary for the quantity you need. Should help with Plantera. what i did was using the beetle armor with the shell, i had the brain of confusion, the master ninja gear and any good wings (u can use any accessories for the remaining slots). i use the possessed hatchet to deal constant damage, while still being able to focus on dodging. for the first phase, he will do 5 dash then either bubble or tornadoes. bait his charges to the end of your arena so like that, the tornadoes won't be in your way. and for the bubbles use the inferno potion. for the second phase, just dodge and bait his homing buble to the end of your arena (again, for the same reasons) and finnaly for the third phase, dodge vertically. just go as high as u can and as fast as you can with wings and then just fall down as fast as you can. you can also dodge with the master ninja gear if fishron is too close to you. hope it helped edit: the arena was ashpalt runway above the water with some campfire and heart lantern, very basic

So Journey's end is coming out in some hours, and i'm doing a ranger playthrough (and my first playthrough where I know what i'm doing lol), and i said "Hey, i've got really far, i beated the Martín invasion, I migth beat it today!" i went to "kill" duke fishron, and he obliterated me in every attempt :(
Duke fishron is a blessing if you can defeat him before plantera (like i usually do) The Tsunami, razorblade typhoon and flairon along with the shrimpy truffle and the chance of getting one of the best wings in the game.. Definitely worth it My strategy is to just go in with titanium armour (ranger set up) with the daedalus stormbow and a bunch of venom/holy arrows on an asphalt bridge after i beat the destroyer.. Only stopping during phase 3 to focus on dodging. I advice for anyone willing to put up for the challenge to try him this early as the rewards are definitely worth it and easily shortens the amount of time it takes to beat the game :>

Hey man i just want to ask you something, i already found the 3 sword shrine in my medium world, i got arkhalis but i haven't got enchanted sword, is there a way i can get enchanted sword?
Make a new world and search until you find one. Btw the shrines only spawn in the outer thirds of the map. Also not sure why you wouldn't want to use the arkhalis but ok.
@@bsheepdestroyermakesstuff7222idk if anything changed in 1.4 but you want something so you can see under the ground like jester arrows or ice sickle. Another method would be spam teleportation potions if you have loads and hope to get lucky lol. First method is easier.
I just fought him and it was going well until his second faze and the he one shot me. I don't mind dying in these games but I hate getting the buffs again.
Golem’s ez. Since he’s a very hard boss that can’t move through blocks... Just use traps found in the dungeon and set up a trap room... then just dodge lasers and hit back his fists
The Kobster 05 To find traps or set up a trap room? Finding the traps is yes, sometimes hard, BUT, if you make a trap room on the surface, there’s enough traps in the dungeon to kill him within 5 mins. To get the altar, place actuaries underneath it, then activate them (it only works after Plantera though)
It happened to me while fighting plantera.I have no potion in my inventory but thankfully i survived with the lifeforce potion and the regenaration one. (Used other buffs btw)
I found if you drop down onto the worm with some wings it doesn't have much time to burrow. Hard if you don't have an open mushroom area but you can always mine it out a little.
Grobeman I just want to say your guides are Very helpful and considerably made harder progressions in the end game (Moonlord in this case) Also can you provide me with any help/advice or strategies to support me? As I lack a worm scarf due to my chosen evil and fighting in expert mode difficultly. I don't have a UFO or even cute fishron. I hope you read this and possibly respond.
Hey, I was watching a video from happy days I think his name is, and he killed duke before mech bosses, to get the tsunami, and I was reading the comments and saw that some people saw duke is really hard, and I still want to try to beat him to get the tsunami just because of how good it is, I am new to the game, and am a ranger, so could anyone help me with good stuff to use to try and get the tsunami
NickyBear XD the storm bow and a good set of armor should be good but u have to keep dodging those attacks if not ur armor wont withstand his charges and use some heartreach potions
Duke fishron was legit at his last phase, at 12,000 health, when I decided to pause to game a bit to take a break, because my hands were sweaty. When I came back I pressed [Exit Game] By addicent, I was so pissed. And I had to farm another 1 hour to get another truffle worm.
I'll probably do modded guides after I feel like I've covered the main game well enough. I'm mainly a PC player these days (my latest console is a Wii U lol) so I doubt I'll cover console stuff, particularly since the updated versions are becoming the same as PC.
So, I'm thinking of fighting the Duke before the Mech bosses. I'm going Summoner, so I've got Spider Armour and the Spider Staff/Queen Spider Staff. I've had a lot of experience dodging his attacks as well. Do you think I could beat him before the Mech Bosses? A Tempest Staff would be godly this early, so I figured it might not be a bad idea to try to get one. Any tips for how I might have a better chance of beating him this early?
I guess if you're a dodging god you might be able to do it, lol. I certainly am not. Definitely use a summoner emblem, and the best buff potions you can manage. Daedalus Stormbow might be a good option for a weapon beyond your summons. Some potions are obtainable only by fishing, like the summoner potion; there's a limit to how many buffs you can use (around 20), so choose wisely. I made a guide on potions, too, lol.
@@grobeman Yeah I tried it before I got a response, and failed miserably. My Spiders just couldn't latch on, and I wasn't exactly able to dodge as well as I've been able to in the past. I have since defeated Plantera and Golem, so I'm around the point where I could probably do better, heh.
Completely unrelated but I've got a couple questions about artificial biomes. 1. With making a biome(let's say a snow biome) can it float in the air and still count as a biome? 2. Does it have to be in a preexisting snow biome for the artificial snow biome to spawn enemies such as ice golems or can it be made in a forest biome for example?
It can float, and it can be anywhere as long as there are enough blocks (usually 100+). In fact it's often better to make them up in the air, because it looks at how many of each type of block are in the area when deciding what biome it is and what enemies to spawn.
After defeating destroyer i go catch truffle worms atleast 10 of them the get ichor bullets for my mega shark from destroyer essense and other things with daudelus stormbow with holy arrows....after yhat if ik lucky i get a tsunami and reforge it a bit to unreal and easily kill fishron after yhe mech trio
@@grobeman It worked just alot of aspahlt block at the bottom then in 35 blocks tall place som flatform i recommended like shiny flatforms so u can see them in 3rd phase
