@@eror4ik uh sorry i dont speak that language nor can i translate it. Could you please google translate it into english? Btw, i cant copy you comment for me to be able to translate it myself.
This is absolutely incredible, on par with Roar of the Jungle Dragon. This is lore-relevant. This is clearly written and delivered from a place of emotion, so it's relevant to the author's life. This has relevance to me, a random person the author never met. This has PERFECT relevance to a frustrating and grand challenge like Infernum. PinpinNeon has created a song about something fundamental, something human that every one of us understands on some level, with numerous lyrical points toward a feeling. Being trapped, alone, "in a cage", experiencing "a nightmare few could ever understand", yet continuing through it all. I played a lot of Infernum, getting up to and beating Astrum Deus in my first world before realizing I had generated the world before installing Infernum, so I could not fight the Great Sand Shark. I wanted to experience it all, so I was left with only the choice of making a new world and doing it all over again. Sometime near the beginning of that world, I decided to look up the lyrics of this song. The meaning struck me to my core, and left me emotional to say the least. Thank you, PinpinNeon, for giving us lowly wretches such a pure piece of your soul. I am eternally grateful.
God, I put on those Infernum Headphones for the first time yesterday, and it was like I fell in love with Calamity all over again. Whoever it is doing the lyrics, I want them to know they have a beautiful voice.
Even tho i am not the biggest fan of the calamity mod. I think this theme perfectly represents the chaos of the world of calamity. It's beautiful yet terrifying. It truly shows how music can change a mod. Incredible job, i adore this theme
This song is literally a masterpiece, but yeah everytime I hear this it makes me feel a bit sad, since this is the last mod what I played with my best friend after she died..I still miss her but anyways it doesn't matter.. Every music what I hear from this channel is amazing, youre doing great bro, keep it up! 🦈🙏 (also sorry for bad english lol)
It matters. And you keep your friend's memory in you alive because of it. You matter. It's a good thing to look back on things and feel a bit of pain. It just means it mattered all the more.
After recently finishing Calamity itself in revengeance as a duo with a friend and downloading Infernum only to be introduced to this as the title screen itself, we shed a few tears as we knew this was gonna be the real struggle we were waiting for and DAMN was it worth the wait and 1 month of suffering against everything as a duo, this shed light to us that we're in for a ride you all made. Can't wait till we're knee deep into the boss list.
I just started my infernum playthrough about 2-3 months after beating my first ever playthrough on revengence, I’m about 2-3 weeks into my infernum playthrough and I just beat providence about an hour ago, calamity has really just changed the way I look at terraria bc the lore is j so deep and the music also made me shed quite a few tears after hearing the lyrics especially. I hope you enjoy the mod
This song is absolutely crazy. I’ve been playing infernum with it playing NONSTOP. Always playing through those soul-driven headphones. Not realizing at all that it’s actually a pretty depressing song. It perfectly fits the vibe of infernum’s feel of death and destruction. But mixes in an element of beauty as well. The terraria community can really be shit sometimes and I’m so sorry you had to deal with them. But thank you for persevering nontheless and delivering us masterpiece after masterpiece of absolutely gorgeous music
Good fucking lord is this an amazing song, you can tell just how much emotion was put into this, its a piece of the authors soul, thank you so very much for gracing our ears, I hope you're doing well
I can feel the pure raw emotion in the singing and the music. This is such an amazing music piece. I can't wait to see what you have planned for the rest of the Infernum mod ost.
Unfortunately, Infernum isn't getting updated anymore, because Fabsol and the Calamity fandom are toxic and bullied the lead Dev to the point where they've decided to drop the mod. I really wish the Calamity community wasnt so awful to everyone. DM Dokuro, Infernum's Dev, ETC.
God that synth is beautiful. Thank you so much to the calamity mod dev team, I've been here with them for about 4 years now, I don't know what I would do without them. And thank YOU for making such beautiful and amazing music and thank you infernum team! I never knew that I would be playing such a well done mod in every way. Thank you for your dedication devs. (I really wish I could donate to them and you as well. Lots of heart and work has been put into everything here.) edit: I haven't played the new update of infernum yet, I'm gonna go do that.
The depressing yet hopeful tone, the implication of the lyrics and the fact that the last line of the song is tied directly to the first line of calamitas theme is just brilliant. An absolutely amazing song that fits the calamity mod extremely well and also works great as a lullaby. ;o;
I find this very beautiful. Solara is quickly becoming one of my favorite means of putting in vocals. It's so mystical. But the music itself really does the story telling. The rain in the beginning, consuming all in a dreary torrent, but bits of hope still remain safe from the sorrows. Once the lead up to the vocals happens, the clouds begin to break away, making way for the sun to shine. Lastly the lyrics. They really convey the heart of one who’s been through quite painful revelations. They wanted to soar through the free skies, but once they realized their confinement, the darkness began infiltrating. Not paranoia and self disappointment, but despair and pain. So, they chose to break themselves free from the cage and just like that, they're free once more. There will always be a time when it will rain. Perhaps even a storm should things be rampant enough. But always remember, that the Sky is always beautiful after the rain. Sorry for the extra long comment, but the artist in me can't help but put this down.
An approximate Russian translation of this wonderful song: Все, чего они хотели, это взлететь в небо Но они прокляты с того момента, как искра погасла в их глазах Их сдерживает суровая правда о том, что в конце концов они оказываются запертыми В клетке, оставленной в темноте ночи Сожженные своей судьбой, их разум превратился в пустынную землю Пережив кошмар, который мало кто мог когда-либо понять И все же... царапать их выход из клетки, они еще и блестят В их сердце остается путеводной звездой
I cry inside when I hear it outside the title and headphones, I don't know... There's something with this song that... without the intentions of building a mansion and never progressing is so... *relieving...* I absolutely love this song. It's wonderful.
This OST is that type which revealing your memories and bringing them back, that feeling... It feels awful and great in same time, you finding peace listening to this OST and going through your sad and happy memories as in the times that you lived in peace...
legitimately one of the most beautiful works of music i've heard. This tops "The Tale of a Cruel World" as the best title music. It takes the original's incredible vibe given from such a simple composition and expands on it in every single way. This is a joy to listen to every time I open Infernum, knowing the absolute hell I'll be going through for the next couple of hours. The atmosphere is perfect here, and I think it works even better with the accompanying visuals, which are the cherry on top of this amazing song. The title screen itself also fits the song, as if the character in the video is looking out at the landscape in the title screen's background. "Tale of a cruel world" feels like a gentle reminder that "You've got this. Others have made it far, and so will you. Are you ready?" While this feels like an encouragement *filled* with tragedy, as if the person is telling you that the events you are going to go through are NOT easy by any stretch of the imagination, while you look them in the eyes knowing full well that what they said is NOT an assumption, but that they KNOW you will succeed. You're destined to. When the flute-sounding instrument comes in, I just lose it. Every time. It's incredible, combined with the vocals being PERFECT. When you listen to the song on the title screen, you don't really understand the lyrics, which gives it an aura of mystery and ethereality. There's just so much packed in here. It makes me want to play Infernum specifically for it. Legitimately the greatest opening section to any game I've ever heard, disliked.
I'm so unbelievably PO'd. I started an Infernum run a few months ago, but I somehow completely missed the fact that you have to install a *separate* mod for the music. Played all the way through Pre-Hardmode before realizing what I'd missed. Hearing this at the start would have been so d*mn chilling, too... Man...
I've always been mixed about lyrics in terraria music, even Calamity's, but this easily goes down as one of my favorite tracks in the whole of the modding scene's music. 100/100, this song gets perfect marks and is going directly into my d&d playlist for any emotional scenes i run in the future lmao
This gives me the same vibe as walking below hyrule Castle to find ganondorf. Chilling yet beautiful. The vocals could also fit nicely into minecrafts so below neither track.
This such a beutiful song and track only two critics I have for it is that the minor key in the 0:07 sounds out of place and would better suit for a natural key and at 0:34 and beyond the sound instantly shifts which I dont mind for the boss themes but for here it would have been better if the sound faded into each other to not get that blocky feel. Other than that the mid to ending sounds absolutly beuitful, you have definatly come along way with composing, well done!
when the trailer came out, i listened to this song using that. now its actually here yipee! amazing vocals and song in general! hope to hear it in game too
Honestly love how you can hear parts of this in all the newer infernum music you've made (apart from king slime, who's theme is amazing ethier way). Keep up the good work, and don't let anyone in certain parts of the community bring ya down.
This song made me cry, mainly cause I know what it’s like to receive toxicity from a community I was in. Autism really amplified it, being different resulted in toxic treatment and expectations. Know that, as a musician myself, you’re appreciated, by me at least. Thank you, and I’m sorry for what you had to go through.
Just got into the final infernum update, and I’ve taken my sweet time starting a playthrough just to sit back and listen to this soundtrack in its entirety multiple times. Really drives that bittersweet ending and calm feeling in the night, props to you for pushing out these tracks one by one for this mod.
I wasn't thinking of writing a comment, but after having finished the Infernum Mod recently, I thought it would be fitting. I wasn't sure what to think of this song when I was swapping through the title screens, but after I had obtained the headphones and listened to a few of the songs more, especially this one, I felt I got addicted to it. It quickly became a staple of my run, I was always listening to it whenever I wasn't doing any boss encounters. The titlescreen, too, was unchanged for the entire run; the song and melody is haunting, and simply too beautiful as well. Infernum as a mod, honestly made Calamity worth replaying again, if it wasn't for it and its music, I would've probably dropped the playthrough again. Thank you, and the others of the Infernum Mod team for making it, it was a complete blast and struggle. Good luck with any future endeavours~.
Sounds like a Christmas song almost. A beautiful one at that. and the lyrics really nearly brought me to tears, it just resonated with me in a way I never expected.
Amazing work with the song. Also do not listen to those who wish to bring you down, thinking they owe you something. On the contrary, we owe you everything for doing this and i thank you.
This is amazing. Genuinely makes me upset knowing Infernum will probably be coming to an end some point in the near future. On a side note I would love to hear that Solaria would sound like doing the vocals for Stained Brutal Calamity. 👀
To be totally honest, I personally think this would work better as the track for the end credits. Or perhaps a fourth interlude between SCal and Yharim? Only time will tell... And as for the haters, just remember: we all live in a world consumed by evil and darkness. So rather than letting those absolute imbeciles drag you down, rise above their petty insults and shine brighter than they ever could. The light never dies. It simply evolves faster than the darkness can consume it.
Damn, this song is great to just listen on repeat, just like every other infernum track. And those vocals at the end really sell it too, goes to show not everything is as it seems. Another banger of an infernum track.
I can't stop listening to this. The lyrics, whole song is awesome, yet so emotional. And to know how much the toxicity have affected the calamity dev team is disappointing to say the least.
I can't stop coming back to this ever since I heard it for the first time. even out of the context of calamity it just resonates with me in a way I cant describe. keep making music, don't let anyone break your spirits.
"Cuando suene esta cancion, te daras cuenta has terminado un pequeño episodio de una aventura en uno de los mejores juegos de la historia, con coraje y valentia acabando con el tormento de un mundo. Ahora toma un pequeño descanso por que llegara el dia en que te enfrentaras al tirano de este mundo y nadie te podra ayudar y aun asi tomaras tu murasama y el resto de tus armas e iras a derrotar a todo aquel que se ponga en tu camino". "When this song plays, you will realize you have finished a small episode of an adventure in one of the best games in history, with courage and bravery ending the torment of a world. Now take a short break because the day will come when you will face the tyrant of this world and no one will be able to help you and you will still take your murasama and the rest of your weapons and go to defeat everyone". ♾️💀
"We were meant for each other, yet always separated. We always cross each other's path, yet non of us realize. One were shattered beyond repair One were deformed beyond recognition. One stand by he who sought destruction. One stand by those who bestow salvation. Two face of the same coin, stand on two opposite side of the turmoil valley. Yet, against all odds, we finnaly united once more." Words were given as they meet each other again, not as enemy, but as family, the only one they will ever have. Finnaly saying their goodbye to the god who gave birth to both of them, and brought them back together. -Story of the Twin of Destruction (Callia and Phillip Aegis), Otherworldly Madness
Dang your songs never fail to impress I love this!!! Also are your songs ever going to be released on Spotify? Just curious as I'd love to be able to listen to these during the day when I'm busy!
This is on par with NieR Automata I do not say this lightly. This is BEAUTIFUL, it made me cry From Catastrophic Fabrications to this both scores from the heart. I love your work!
Somehow, Infernum has rekindled that old feeling of not knowing what's coming. I'm not smashing through bosses on Revengence anymore. I'm having to learn brand new ai's and failure is a constant melody.
Honestly, beautiful voice to who did this, it caught me off guard. And they lyrics, I feel them. Experienced it, so. It brings solace in some sort of way. If there are people who get disrespected in calamity, let alone other communities, I'd love to help. Everyone deserves greatness.
beautiful. im sorry for what you have gone through. i am, or was, going through a mental struggle. it may not be as bad as yours, but i hope you can find your way out of this hell.
@@ThyminThyme The way you wrote it in all caps, however, and with the pretext, is a thing used specifically in undertale. This is a classic r/accidentalreference
Hearing this for the first time after actually beating Scal is a feeling I can’t fully describe. 80hrs. 1000+ (150 to DoG alone) deaths. And it’s… done. It’s over, you’ve won, your last foe has been bested.
Just want you to know that we are thankful for all this fantastic music you produce. The community is really horrible sometimes, but just know that this stuff is fucking fantastic.
just finished my infernum mode ranger class run after defeating supreme calamitas, this started playing, and oh my god... i actually started crying a bit the song is just too beautiful
I like how the lyrics can be a warning to us the player. We all want to play infernum (all they wanted was to fly through the sky). But none of us are ready for infernum’s cruelty and unforgiving nature so some give up ( but their damned from the moment the spark faded from their eyes). But if we retain the spark and push forward we will overcome it eventually ( and yet … clawing their way out of the cage they still shine for in their heart remains their guiding light). I could be me reaching for strings but if find it cool. Sorry for the long read you’re a star for reading my silly theory.
This fits so perfectly, my first ever run of calamity was infernum with a friend. And the first boss the sandworm already gave us so much trouble i was thinking of lowering the difficulty but we peservered and beat him and from then on every boss was possible in my mind. And we ended up finishing the mod and i look very fondly back to it.
You know, I was just humming my way through "Stained, Brutal Calamity" from memory while a distorted variation of this was cycling in the background (I'm sure a lot of us have done something similar), and couldn't help but notice certain similarities between various sections of the melodies in the two songs. Was that intentional, or just subconscious? To be fair, the feeling the lyrics give you in this one is fairly similar to the dialogue at the end of the SCal fight when synced to the music. Maybe I'm just overthinking it. Maybe I just get philosophical when I'm tired. Who knows? Maybe this has all been nothing but the nonsensical ramblings of a madman.
Who is the song referring to what character, I am interested in calamity lore because I got curious on who is getting referring to, because I am thinking of the player character the terrarian because the line’s Having lived a nightmare’ Few could ever understand, And yet… clawing their way, Out of the cage they still shine, For in their heart remains their guiding light. This song is telling a story of someone that have experience a fate worse then death and nobody can understand their pain, but yet their still shine Absolutely fantastic song you did put a lot of time and care into it hope you will make more songs like this
