Would've been cool if all enemies had their drops disabled, so you'd have to find a chest that contains a temple key, a power cell, the materials needed to spawn bosses (or their spawners). Would give this more of a challenge.
I suppose for me, I don't find terraria videos where drops/chest are completely random to be very...suspenseful. It mostly becomes a video where I wait for the player to get the zenith/OP item that negates pretty much everything. I actually don't know how I would fix it to make randomized tables more interesting.
I think what could make it better is that like in pre hard mode you can only get pre hard mode weapons and armor from the chests and potions can only be in numbers under 100, hard mode you would be able to get hard mode weapons and armor from the chests but only pre plantera hard mode items, and after plantera etc. there could also be a rng mechanic, like you know the item rarity things? Idk what version it’s in but there could be a feature where your more likely to get pre hard mode items than really op post moon lord items
It sucks how Necr0 is getting alot of hate comments on this video. I dunno if this is common here lately, but I really enjoy his content and I've watched most of his videos since he first played vanilla Master mode. The 100 days videos? Yeah, I was there for those. I've loved Necr0's videos from damn near the beginning and I hate how people are just battering him in the comments. Like, you knew what you clicked on when you clicked this video. You read the title. Items in chests are completely randomized. He got good gear from a few wood chests. That's what you clicked this video for.
I honestly feel like most people nowadays use the comment section on any platform as some sort of complaint box. That's all I see now, just constant negativity and bashing. Like I guess this is our culture now! It's very very sad to see
I have not seen that many hate comments on this video and thats kinda what the comment section is for to give feedback to the youtuber to improve not just glaze the youtuber when their content is kinda getting worse
The problem isn't that he snuck this video up on us like we didn't know, the problem is challenge is required for any good story, like he doesn't always need to be challenged but when he's absolutely broken in every video it just gets uninteresting and bland, expecially when we know he's good enough to do the challenges Struggle is the origin of every good story Also worth noting, this guy has videos in the MILLIONS of views and most of them get 60k these days, you say why do people comment why not just not watch but you're missing the point, most folks DO just not watch, the people commenting are the people who care enough about necro as a creator to want to see him get back to where he was

@japodogo Maybe instead do terraria. But instead I progress in reverse going from fighting slimes with postmoon. Lord gear to having to fight moonlord with like a wand of sparking or something

A friend of mine recently suggested Core Keeper to me so we've been playing that. It does have a Terraria kind of feel but without being fast paced especially with bosses and it is more grindy
these kinda terraria videos piss me off theres nothing too them you basically get the best stuff early game with no work to get them then you breeze right past literally every boss
Then don’t watch them. You knew what the video was about, why click a video that you don’t like? If you don’t like it, just leave the RU-vidr alone, he didn’t make the chests have good loot, that was dumb luck.
