what is very funny is the fact that you can just get around 35% magic damage any other way and you basically got over the mana sickness anyway, so in just 3 accessories
@ToniBobbinsIt isn't that much. Also, unless you like to use the nurse for your boss arena, you are only really going to use money for potions, ammo, and/or reforges.
I mean... your not wrong, it is balanced, with the lack of defense mage has its only right that it gets this treatment, ive tested it, and despite one shotting things death is still inevitable for me cuz of lingering projectiles and effects nearly one shotting me, unless your dodge game is good, this is kinda balanced, max self sustain on the other hand or max summoner dps, i feel as if thats a cheat no doubt, autobattlr and half immortality 👌
If you don't mind losing the extra mana granted, you can always swap out the Diamond Robe for Dark Artist's Robes and still have the same mana cost reduction with a far better defense, along with a 10% damage boost to all the mage weapons you showed off... barring the frost hydra staff. That one oddly gets a 25% boost from it for some reason. Must be a bug.
@@Max-zo6rv I "think" I can figure this one out...I think they mean that if you have mana sickness, you only end up losing 10% damage, in comparison to the 'same' build, but cheating with infinite mana. So, it ends up only being a 10% debuff. Googling the actual effect of mana sickness, shows its 25% damage reduction, slowly reducing to 0 1% at a time. So, technically 12.5% "overall" damage reduction, so long as you don't pop 2 mana potions at the same time (which apparently multiplicatively stacks). So, the number is 'slightly' off, but the concept technically works. 12.5% damage reduction "on average" over 5 seconds. This means that a build that a build that "practically never has to get mana sickness" has to contend with a full damage build that maybe only loses 12.5% power if a fight drags on too long.
I just wanna say, I really love your channel. You have a very very unique channel compared to any other terraria youtubers I've seen, maxing out these interesting stats or weapons and bringing them to a video format thats super condensed and is still easy and captivating to watch is hard. It kind of feels like Grant Thompson's TKOR but for terraria. Much love, new sub
It might actually be cool if you made balanced builds where you find, like for this one, the highest damage you can do with the most mana reduction to get a balanced build, regen and dps or regen and armor. It would be seriously cool half builds to mix with each other
Wand of sparking and frosting will use 0 mana with a max mana cost reduction setup, 1 is not the minimum. Also meteor gun, gray zapinator, and orange zapinator use 0 mana with meteor armor
If you play with thorium, the tide stone grants +12 mana/sec even while constantly using magic weapons, which is unlike any other magic regen to my knowledge
Mana regen seems like a very interesting stat that you could max out. By the way, can you do a video on the harpoon gun? Personally I find it very strong but it seems like no one uses it
i have a certain curse that makes me find a natures gift every 3-5 minutes whenever i am in the jungle. it has been a sort of joeke arojnd my friendgroup now, and we call it "natures gift rizz"
The good thing about the loadout feature is that you literally can be building different sets on the fly, as you usually get a lot of accessories for different classes. Can't count how many times I end up with mage or melee builds while playing as ranger
"Oh no i sure hope natures gifts dont fill my inventory while building the plantera arena. Oh how tragic that would be". Now we just wait for them to come rolling in.
interesting fact: in the game you can still get 0 mana use, but only on some weapons: bubble gun, topaz staff, wand of sparking and Leaf Blower (not counting the meteorite armor, of course)
Did you know you can enter the lizhard temple before plantera? Simply add 3 platforms attached to the door, hammer each platform twice then walk through it by holding down.
pretty sure some weapons like the bubble gun needs 0 mana, at least i tried it in tmodloader (im too lazy to get the putrid scent in vanilla) and it worked.
aprils fools suggestion max insulation just put on as many cloaks, coats wings and such as possible to become the biggest walking cabbage there is in the world
Day 43 of being that one guy who asks that one question over and over again until sockr post a video teaching us how to mess with hero's mod yo how does that mod works? seriously, we need a guide to mess qith weapon use time ;-;
You asked, "should you"... I think you do not understand. If there is a stat in this game, your job is to max it, and make a video about it. There is no asking. This is your life now. This is the way.
