Yo, looks like you're having fun, I have some quick suggestions for you (I gave you some last vid but I forgot them so sorry if some are repeated): 1. Looks like you don't have any armour right now, so you should probably at the very least make wooden armour before exploring, also each armour has its own unique set bonus when all 3 pieces are worn. The early set bonuses aren't great, but get significantly better as you progress. As well as upgrading you armour, you should also aim to get a golden pickaxe and the other gold tools. 2. Since you're going mage, I would highly recommend getting a gem staff (which requires a gem, like diamond, ruby, etc and a metal bar, you can check with joe the guide to see which bars combine with which gem to make the staff) as well as a vilethorn which you can obtain from the orbs in the underground corruption, which you can gain access to by jumping into the chasms in the overworld corruption with ropes or platforms. When inside, you can actually use bombs to blow up the ebonstone to then get to the orbs, which can be smashed with a hammer or another bomb. The first orb always drops a musket, but then the rest of the loot is random, I would just be wary of destroying your third orb... 3. If you are feeling extra brave, you could go to the underground jungle, which is really high risk high reward. Once inside, you should collect stingers from hornets and spiked slimes, vines from man eaters, jungle spores which are the glowing green orbs scattered deeper in the jungle, as well as any chests you find as they contain really good loot. With the materials, you will be able to make jungle armour (which just so happens to be mage armour, with similar defence to gold armour as well as other mage bonuses), a new hook and multiple new weapons. 4. No, you can't craft gold coins, 1 gold coin = 100 silver coins and will automatically change into a gold coin once obtained. Have fun, I hope you enjoy the rest of the game!
Fun watching you discover new stuff in this game :) Btw get full golden armor and use the crystal harts you can hawe up to a maximum of 20 hearts (400 hp), if you want a early game mage armor go to the jungle and get some jungle spores, vines, and bee stinger and you can make jungle armor with that ( spores are glowing mineables, vines and stingers are enemy drops in the jungle underground layer ) The next magic weapon that you wanna get is the thorn staff in the underground curroption after destroying some ballz (orbs)
seeing that controller get thrown and not land on the bed during the intro nearly gave me a heart attack. (also wand of sparking is pretty good during the beginning, and choosing the mage build is something I approve of!)
Also try and mine for gems, any gem works but preferably rubies or diamonds. if you get rubies and gold bars or platinum and diamonds, you can make a staff which is a mage weapon and will get you through a good bit of the game
All you need to know right now is this: - dig straight down (there are craftables that help with climbing back up) - don’t die or you lose your money -better material = better pickaxe = better material which = better loot overall - don’t go all the way down to Hell (yes really) - have fun ❤
Some quick tips: 1. You can give joe stuff and he would show items you can make from it (like armor, weapons, etc.) 2. To summon first boss you need to craft king slimes crown. It requires some slime and golden crown. You can make crown from gold and 1 ruby. Ruby you can mine in caverns. And you need to find demon altar(in underground corruption biome) to craft it.

you get abigails flower from a graveyard biome. so basically you gotta die like 7 times to get the graveyard biome and wait for the flower to spawn 'on grass'
3 tips The jungle is hard but gives incredible loot underground Beating the eater of worlds gives good stuff Organize everything if you're a hoarder, i learned that the hard way
@@nutnutttyThe jungle is a really good place for the mage as you can get one of the best mage armors there before you even beat any bosses all you need for the full set is 10 stingers, which you get from killing hornets, 2 vines which you get from killing man eaters (venus flytrap looking things) and 32 jungle spores which are the green glowing things that are all over the jungle. It won't be easy, as jungle enemies are pretty difficult but it's totally worth it! After you get this armor, you won't need to upgrade your armor for a WHILE
You've got this mate, Abigails flower is a summon that is found near gravestones, when you were cleaning up Graves stones you might've accidentally picked it up Each summon slot upgrades the ghost, I suggest you go mage + summoner but that's up to you
Some tips: Explore. Just go everywhere and pick up/mine everything, it’s probably useful. If you don’t know what something can be crafted into, give it to Joe and he’ll tell you and where to craft it at. Get some armor. Easiest armor to get now is wood armor. If you find a desert, cactus armor is slightly better than wood. Metal armors are better than both. Armor tiers like this: wood < cactus < tin < lead < silver/tungsten (you’ll have one of either of these) < gold. For now ;) Try to get as much gold as possible, gold tools and armor are the best you can get at the moment. Also more life crystals. Also don’t worry about builds at the moment, just use whatever you can get for now.
Make a bunch of platforms and space them vertically apart as high as you can jump, it'll be an arena you can use to fight bosses. You can put campfires for faster health regen. That'll help you fight The Eye of Cthulhu, you can craft a suspicious looking eye with 6 lenses (lenses are dropped by demon eyes) at a demon alter to summon him, you can also find them in chests
If you want to go magic route you going to need jungle armor and a bed when exploring jungle area so when you die you don't have to walk all the way back
For now don’t focus on the 4 builds is better to play around with most builds until you make it to hard mode then you wanna choose a build and stick with it for maximum damage
"none of these people are paying rent" funny you mention that, because once you beat the wall of flesh and enter hardmode you can get them to pay rent. Once in hardmode the tortured soul will spawn in hell and if you throw purification powder on him he turns into the tax collector and collects taxes from every npc you have. Its basically rent.
yo buy a piggybank from the merchant (homeless man), u can store money in it and be able to instantly use it through the piggybank to make purchases so eg you can have gold in your piggybank and be able to use it to buy things from people from across the entire world
so, your becoming a mage build you might rage a lot using this class but overall i recommend using summoner since you already have a summoner item, and you can get whips are a weapon for summoners it makes the summons stronger when holding the whip and there's a lot of whips, but you can already get a whip at the furry aka zoologists but honestly you can choose everything you want but i think you're going to rage a lot and not have fun and do a bad first impression anyways heres a thing that you need to know first of all i recommend getting full demonite armor or get gold armor but demonite armor is better than gold armor to get demonite you have to beat eye of Cthulhu and beat it and it will give a lot of demonite and you use demonite until you get to hardcore demonite is very good for pre hardmode aka early game and yeah you can get so better armor but that's in hardmode aka mid game Abigal's flower inspired by the hit game don't starve together its very op in early game so yeah please use summoner but i wont force you so now heres a another thing so when getting full armor you will be given a bonus like full wooden armor will give you a bonus that will give you more defense and the bonus are very good like increased life regen life steal and all of that now one last thing life crystals don't get to 200 hp because 2 stuffs will start first eye of Cthulhu can now invade you whenever he wants to but mostly at night only because he's scared of the day so try to beat him before the sun comes up or he will just despawn and the other one is the goblin army they can break you houses your bridge everything they want to see the world burn and in end game they are just annoying honestly and that's it but you can only have 400 hp from life crystals to get more you need to use accessories and also heres armor for summoner flinx fur coat and ancient leggings and helmet i will tell you later because i said this is the one last thing so im not gonna continue yapping so im done good bye love you vids!

Bro you are just sitting there conteplating life, if you dont know what to do then just check on wiki. You should get more ores and turn them into ignots then make anvil and armour plus weaponzzzzz. Simple as that
If you want some tips you can upgrade your wand of sparking with ice blocks to a wand of frosting or you can craft a gem staff by combining a certain gem with its bar for example,amethyst with copper bars you can always check how to make the staffs by showing a gem to the guide. Sorry if I am just yapping at this point but if you want some starter mage armor you can get the wizard hat from a skeleton mage called Tim he spawns deep underground and you can get a robe which can be crafted with silk and gems, you can get silk by crafting it from cobwebs at a loom and to craft a loom you need 12 wood and a sawmill is crafted with 10 wood 1 chain(made from iron or maybe tin at an anvil) and 2 iron bars. You can also find looms underground if you are lucky.
