I don’t know if this is a glitch but, if you make a player and exit it’ll be in the list of characters in single player (still tmodloder). This means you could use the weapons and item drops to beat the base game. I hope they don’t remove that.

I've had a really op run with some 2 things that multiply projectile ammount by 4 (so its x8), +4 things that add 1 projectile and 3 artifacts that multiply damage by 6 and 50% crit chance (so its x18) in the end if I'd be able to charge sword fully then I'd do ~100 000 damage in 1 swing

The cannon is really good when you get the shotgun and attack speed buffs as it can clear out rooms really fast.

With this mod active, when you create a new character for a regular world, you'll only have basic adaptive weapons, then you can give yourself the red item that gives a 2% chance to drop a random item on kill, and now you can play through the the entirety of terraria with those items randomly dropping. Haven't seen anyone on youtube do a playthrough like that yet, currently started it myself and I think most items will work outside the roguelike environment, and will even work with vanilla weapons. Keep in mind that your health regeneration becomes almost non-existant with this mod tho.

I just got what I'll call the "fan of spears" build. 12 attacks per attack and the amber ring let me basically parry charging attacks with my spear attack. Add the rocket thing for 1.6x damage and the instigator gauntlet and common enemies didn't stand a chance.

just finished run with spear and cannon, got 4 reds and 3 Missile which dealt 5-7k damage cus of 450% of base damage

the one green item in the shop is an Enchanting Eye, it works really good with a crit build (like the Evil Eye) and fast attack speed (like for example with the Adaptive Dagger). with enough crit chance and attack speed you can tank bosses

I didn’t know the mod updated when I played last night and got a pleasant surprise. Ended up not liking the rifle and just ramming myself into enemies to end the run. Used the cannon, got 2x proj, 6x damage sniper legendary, like 4x of the 75% damage above 90% health, and like 6x of the 20% damage while within a few blocks. Absolutely obliterated enemies and if the two or three DoT abilities went off then I basically one shot bosses.

Dude. I love the spear. I had a run with sniper scope, several instigators gauntlets, brazen nunchucks and crit chance. Basically, if I crit on a full health enemy, I did like 20 thousand damage

For farming items off of the pillars, you could’ve dropped the turret item on the ground prior to entering the room then picked it up afterwards.

Quite a fun mod, a bit short honeslty once you figure out the tricks to win (literally beat hardmode immediately after normal) but very cool, hoping for maybe an endless version in the future had a good time regardless :) (sniper and shotgun are broken items, and when combined they are instant win)

i played with rifle one time and got 10% atteck speed bost item in shop so i treaded every other item to get 20 of those barrels and i had 2 evil eyes and some other things it was insane i destroyed pillars in like 4-6 seconds

It's amazing that we get updates this soon into the release This mod has to be the most unique one out there

tried out this mod and did a run with the canon launcher unknowing it was just added, but yeah got a lot of attack speed ups and it was really fun

This mod has inspired me to make a roguelike Minecraft map lol It's going smoothly!

New guy here, I'd love to see a small series focused on exploring the full extend of this roguelike mod

This mod looks so sick and definitely has some inspiration from my fav roguelike Risk of Rain 2, definitely need to try it myself!

getting high crit chance and some evil/enchanted eyes you can be really overpowered

Amber ring is really OP with high fire rate melee weapons. That or just a lot of amber rings and you become basically invincible.

These new weapons look good I would love to see the others as well yeah! Props to the dev of this mod for giving more weapons!

I’m hoping for mod support like imagine running through the Astral Infection or Brimstone Wastes in a part of the run, or getting Wulfrum items

Wall of flesh with a bunch of cluster bomb upgrades was hilarious for me. He died within seconds of spawning in.

the middle 2 options are easily the best, especially when you get stuff like instigators gauntlet and brazen nunchucks or anything that increases %damage cause then it stacks fast 2:50 i was one of those people lmao, also having multiple gifts only increases the chance of a better item, not giving another one 4:19 nevermind seems you found that out yourself lmao 8:15 while getting a red item at all is great, ceremonial crown is just a disappointing pick, it barely gets a buff in boss fights, but atleast you have it so you can trade it later 9:30 dont fear, you made the right choice, the door can be good, if you had a barrier build, which you very much dont, so the item potentiometer is defo more value during the run back to the true brain fight, i dont know if you did this but you could farm loot in the pillar rooms 10:00 if you bin the turrets, they stop working but you can still take them back out of the bin after 11:50 i envy your luck, minigun with the cannon is OP af 12:20 the thrill of the hunt item, gives you movement speed and attack speed on enemy kill for 5 seconds 12:55 genius choice, item potentiometer is useless in the final boss room but trump card certainly isnt

I really want atk spd items because "Thrill of the Hunt" isn't doing it for me. On kill buffs aren't good against bosses because they don't release that many minions in the first place.

Hey, Hi. I really love terraria as well as mods for it, and the mod that allows you to make a roguelike out of terraria is excellent! Only I have a problem. every time I go to any stage in the portal, the game crashes, writes that there is no imagle 650, and I realised that it is the lack of desert, as I have never been to this location. Maybe you could suggest something to solve it? I really want to play this :(

oh wow finally, first version felt a bit bland and boring with just the standard blaster and basically no way to win unless you get a lot of healing items and build diversity being locked behind the rarest items in the game
