Terraria without Immunity Frames is pure chaos... 

With this mod, skeletron effectively becomes the dungeon guardian with arms.

This mod makes normal enemies more dangerous than bosses.

Apparently the summoner minions issue has been fixed, and now they are insanely broken

More enjoyable than master mode. With this mod, every fight basically becomes a wild west showdown decided by who hits faster. Everyone is a glass cannon here, which makes it extremely difficult in a way that also makes you feel badass.

I'm not surprised that Life Drain was completely busted, although I am surprised it didn't get used more. The Vile Shard is strong thanks to infinite pierce, but the Life Drain has that as well, combined with higher damage, AoE, and significantly longer range. I would say it's more useful than the Harp as well, since while the Harp has higher damage, Life Drain is significantly easier to aim, and that makes it extremely useful in a mod where a single miss can get you killed.

I've been using Spike Balls in vanilla for years, they are very good and very underrated, they can be scattered on the bridge for the WoF fight, thrown at the ground during invasions to get offscreen kills and chip down every enemy, used in arenas with platforms to essentially put an almost permanent and strong DoT effect on the bosses, truly an amazing weapon for pre hardmode especially considering you a lot of them for free and they are not that expensive anyway

I love how Biome Mimics can give you some of the most busted and incredibly strong weaponry in the game... ... or just a hook

The vilethorn straight-up eviscerates literally everything in pre hardmode.

Im curious about how the zapinators work when they just slow down inside a hitbox

This makes spears insanely powerful, especially the slower ones

This mod actually makes the Dungeon Guardian easier; It has no iFrames meaning you can do substantially more damage and theres no downside since DG instant kills you anyway

Did you know: the first shadow orb is always a musket in order to give you a gun that easily. Other than the first one, it’s complete RNG

The jungle increases spawn rates, so i would recommend getting peace candles, calming potions and invisibility potions since all of those decrease mob spawns

This is pretty much just Terraria but both enemies and the player have permanent adrenaline from Calamity.

the most effective way to play this mod is actually summoning, with summons having to have their own s in place to stop making them too OP. imagine what what kind of damage Raven staff or Finch staff does if the bird just sticks around a little bit. if only they could work properly...

I want to see demon scythe on wall of flesh with this, my vanilla strat was to just get close and aim it up up-diagonally, it starts slow and sinks into its hitbox, then as it speeds up it keeps up piercing through the upper sections.

im actually trying this for a playthrough and the brain of confusion is actually invaluable - the dodge chance is basically boosted tenfold by the lack of I-frames and its saved me on numerous occasions it effectively allows you to be in that state of being hit by enemies for a lot longer so its easier to escape and survive a hit also, spears are BROKEN in this mod

to be completely honest I should've expected that massive hitbox bosses would've made the easiest of opponents in this game

Wouldn't the inferno fork from the dungeon be quite good with this mod? Big explosion that does tons of damage, would likely shred any semi-stationary enemies like the cultist or golem

a tip for dealing with mobs in a plantera arena, if you have terraspark boots/lava waders you can line the floor with lava so nothing can spawn and add walls to the side so nothing other than the vine creepers can come from the outside!

I think the reason minions don't work is bc i-frames aren't actually what limits them. I'm pretty sure they have their own timing for their attacks.

This reminds me of Revengeance mode from MGR. There, enemies can clown on you in just a couple of hits, but counter-attacks do insane amounts of damage. It's the same game of who strikes first.

I am probably not going to get a response due to how old this video is, but at 12:01 you hover over the Gold Hammer, Pwnhammer, and Daedalus Stormbow. When you do this it shows a DPS stat at the bottom. Was curious what the mod for this was or how to enable this cause it'd be really helpful?

I bet wired trap mechanisms would make for some serious defensive strategy. A mixture of Spiky Ball Traps and Flame Traps could potentially shut down an entire invasion.

I can't remember which mod it is, it's NOT the main ones you think of like fargo's and calamity, but there's some mod that literally has this as a built-in toggleable difficulty mode feature. I consistently use it for farming because mid-late game in modded you just become a walking death field with it active. Stuff like Stardust Dragon, some of the crazy Fargo's auras, etc. just completely shred anything and everything they come across.
