We lived in the smaller penthouse suite in the summer of 2018. Everything was spectacular! Loved the staff, the restaurant and the terrace. Great job with this review! I am now a subscriber!
Hi Kevin, thanks for the hotel tour. Quick comment about the French reputation in terms of politeness. It's true that France does not have the best reputation among foreigners. However, as someone who travels a lot, who has lived in France for around 5 years and who is married to a French woman, I personally think that people who had a bad experience should give France and its people another chance. Maybe spend a bit more time. I think that people from Paris or France in general are not less polite than people from e.g. Spain, Greece or Portugal. For me personally probably the most underrated people. Cheers, TOKO Explore
Tbh, I enjoy French hospitality/‘attitudes’ as it’s very similar to where I’m from in the US. I respect people that just don’t have time for BS and/or don’t feel the need to (unreasonably) appease people. But, I know most travelers are not the same way, so I just pointed out this hotel’s difference. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I'm into the bathroom being behind the bed - gives you a bit of a cushion in case you've got loud neighbours. Charging for the coffee in reception is a bit cheap, though - I stayed in a place in Brussels where you could get unlimited pod coffees and Biscoff biscuits 24/7 in the reception.
Hey man hope you had a wonderful experience in Vistara business class from Delhi to Paris..But back in Feb 2022 i had travelled with them in the same route in business class i had completely bad experience..I could see they have improved a lot..... Awesome video man
Nice review and a seemingly nice hotel. Compact, well organised and inviting. Reminds me a bit of the Hospes Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid? The view was a bummer, but can’t have everything?
Correct! If I had a view of the Eiffel Tower from my room then the rooftop restaurant (and it’s view) would have just felt pretty basic 😅 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Sitting in an airport making last minute changes to my Bali itinerary haha. There are just too many choices. I must have cancelled more hotels than I’m actually staying at 😅 Thanks as always for your support 🙏🏻
@@tfft I am in the process of booking something nice near Ubud in sept/oct….there is just sooo (too) much choice!!!!! Can’t wait for more Bali/far east content! Curious what you will have in store for us 👀 Safe travels 🙏🏼
I would like to see your opinion on Jetblue Business class Mint suites on their a320 neo long haul flights. Took it last summer to Europe and back. I was very impressed. Just wanting to see a frequent flyer’s opinion on em.
Bro i can already see in your profile description that you are visiting in Rajasthan state of India in near future Here are some Astonishingly beautiful Hotels you must stay:- 1) Jaipur - Rambagh Palace ( One of the finest and costliest hotel in India by Taj) (If possible Raj palace Maharaja pavilion which is another palace) 2) Udaipur- Oberoi Udaivilas And Taj lake Palace ( must stay) (LEELA Palace if possible) 3) jodhpur- Umaid bhawan palace
Paris...Well...France in general and I don't get on well...My Québécois accent gets the " Huh? What's that you say" treatment.( I usually just speak English)
Yes, France is one country where I put in zero effort into trying to speak a bit of the language. They want the efficient way from A to Z and I can respect that. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
The bathroom was stunning and really well laid out, and I've seen worse bathrooms in some overpriced luxury hotel chains!! l would describe the room as "Tres chic" the minibar/storage area was a great use of a small space, as you highlighted. TBH l don't mind a court yard view. Any hotel that has opening windows or doors is a huge plus for me. What the heck is the reason for the "cycle" room and "treadmill" room on another floor that certainly dampened my overall impression 👍
Kevin, one question: why are you showing the statement summary and the score of each hotel or flight in the beginning of the video? Wouldn't it be beter to show the review first, present the arguments, give your opinion and then at the end to give the score and the summary? That makes the flow of the video more logical (giving the conclusion at the end) and also leaves a level of interest and engagement for your viewers. It's just the thought and I love and appreciate your videos! All the best 👍
Watching a video that’s 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes long is a commitment. Not everyone is happy to watch every video from start to end simply because I produced it- and that’s fine. Other hotel reviewers label absolutely everything as fabulous or wonderful or extraordinary… and you never know what you’re gonna get. Through my thumb nail, title and info card you know precisely whether or not the video is worth your time. I’m a content creator, but I’m also a research tool- getting the viewer to the video that’s best for them as efficiently as possible is beneficial for both sides.
Thanks for showing us the coffee bar Kevin, appreciate 🙏 paying for those coffee pods defo leaves a bad taste in the mouth in the morning 🤣 Fork out 4 euros for that privilege? 🤷♂️🤡
@@tfft 👏👏 that’s smart! Would love to see that in a video / or Amazon list one day 😅🙏 keep up the great work, channels going to the moon this year 🚀 thanks again 🙏🫡
