I'm gonna be honest I actually kinda liked that Geocorp didn't have its own flight blocks, in my eyes that made it unique and specialized in mining and digging

So happy to this game back. It's been so long, I say no limitations on the series. As far as location, Geocorp area is a bit more base friendly. The racetrack one is cool, but a bit busy for base construction. Also, if thermal is not available, how about that dynamo generator? LOL. Glad to see you back in TerraTech boss. Looking forward to the next episode.

Hey! It's been a while (as everyone else and their mothers have been saying here) since you last played this. There's a whole new biome, OFFICIAL MODDED SUPPORT, (though it could be better) and of course, many new blocks and quests. ...maybe I should watch more than 5 seconds in the video before I repeat EXACTLY what you said.

If I'm honest, I'm a smidgen more partial to the GSO Ruins, however, the Venture racetrack would likely be more profitable due to proximity to resources and extra space.

Lathland is a hidden treasure on RU-vid. started watching you around 2015 while I was in 6th grade with your pixel piracy, from the depths, Terratech and Ark SE and now I've just graduated highschool and I still see your videos pop up from time to time. You are one of the few youtubers I never grew out of and I wish you the best in all that you do. I still watch youtube but as I get busier and busier with work and school (on my way into the medical field) I may be unable to soon. I just want to say that you always kept me entertained in my more difficult times, with your calm humor and ability to conquer games the likes of which I could hardly comprehend the full scale of. Now that I see you've come back to an old favorite of mine it does make me nostalgic for the times when life seemed so much simpler.

I loved your terratech playthroughs in the past, specifically Season 3. So glad you came back!

The race track area could be cool. I think you built in the ruins already once, although that was awhile ago and I might be mis remembering. As for restrictions, I love seeing all the material go to all the places, so I think you should be restricted to crafted or ‘repurposed‘ items.

Oh I've missed TerraTech episodes! There have been a ton of changes since we saw you play last. Glad you are having fun, I could watch all the bits you cut, where you comment to us, yourself, the chair, and of course friend mouse. Thanks for the excellent content!

terratech brought me to this channel so i love seeing it back after so long hope to see it continued also 6 tech run only one flying tech and it cant be used as a main combat tech and then 5 themed techs one for each corp and no hover cheesing with better future and whoever else can do it

With the introduction of official modding, would you have any interest in adding them to a play through or doing one after that uses mods? They add so much more high quality (arguably better than base game) blocks to play with, with new features too!

Absolutely amazing to see you playing Terratech again! I am looking forwards to seeing the base you eventually create and your love for glorious missiles. It would be fun you using lots of the new base building Hawkeye blocks for ramps to get around in the Venture mission base.

I put my vote in for the ruins! It's got a salt flats next to it that'll be great to ride around in with some of your faster techs, and I think it just looks cooler!

Happy to see the series back. As a frequent player of the game I recommend that you use the regular autominers as you can actually add up to three on one vein. Additionally you can craft them super easy in bulk with the yellow crystal and the plumbite grey material. I got a few million using this with the green crystals. That’s true satisfaction.

I maxed at the starting faction, bought the miner, refiner, and launcher. Made a blueprint. Went to a plains. And put them on all the green things… Left my computer running over night.

*I'm glad you're back!* Suggested restriction: Only one corporation per episode. Each episode you have to use a different corporation. Maybe something like needing to wait 2 episodes before using a corporation again.

I say, the Venture base does offer some potential for a cool energy set up. Like, leaving an intentional weak point, by having to transmit the energy from the vents via chargers. As if you had a powerline.

I'd say the venture HQ as a base since it's more vehicle friendly and to focus on producing blocks since it'd fit into the theme a lot more, though not super strict about it to cut down on some of the grind time for items that are either really time consuming to make or have had insanely low drop rates. Super happy to see terratech back.

You're the reason I started playing the game, I'm always motivated to play it while watching all your older TerraTech vids.

Man i miss your videos and your voice. I know you havent gone anywhere, but ive found myself with a lot less room in my day to sit down and enjoy your wonderful full playthrus of stellaris. Not that i want you to stop making them, but theyre more than i could sit down and watch in one sitting like i used to

Living in the ruins and only scrapping other parts for resources to craft with sounds amazing but would probably be WAY too grindy. I'd love a huge crafting warehouse though!

Joyous for the return of this series! A restriction for techs might be that they have to be made of at least 2 distinct parts joined together (sort of like the hull of a catamaran, connected by the hull? Idk… don’t know boats) The venture mission spot seems both complicated and interesting because of the unique terrain… if only the ramps could be removed…

I know this is kind of random but there's something about the way you phrase some of your sentences that is unique and I love it

So glad to see this back. I think the ruins look best, and if you want restrictions. I think a good restriction is the one you mentioned, being having to craft every block. I'd love to see a massive proper base and factories.

i like the ruins more than the racetrack, firs the biome really well, like one corp set a base of operations and the area was nuked to say "this planet isnt yours"

Hi Lath, just got back into Terra Tech with a new save game too. I have to agree the new geo-corp parts make it really fun to grind geo missions.

It's been a minute since I've really watched any of your stuff, I was always into the TerraTech and Nimbatus videos and was watching way back when you were near the beginning of TerraTech s1, was looking through some terratech stuff and found this, seems like I've been given a new series to keep up-to-date on and honestly I'm so excited, you were by far one of my favorite content creators up until you kinda fizzled out of terratech and into a lot of other games, always good to see some classics come back, especially given how little content people make on this game

Race track base as the idea of bridges is amazing so having different production at different spots seems cool

I was litterally on S2 of rewatching it after 7 years and now it's back. Lovely to hear your voice while seeing this game again :)

man it's nice to see this make a return. i've found that watching these videos is what got me into playing the game myself. i even have my own style of building too. so i wanna see how you handle it. - the challenge is to make your builds comprised mostly of geocorp. that means big blocks, wheels, guns and such. you're still allowed to use other corporations blocks, guns and mobility like wings over hovers. but your primary building material is to be majority of geocorp-related. also, you can not build on a flat bed. by that, i mean your vehicle (if it has wheels) must drive at an angle whether it's the wheels being at different elevations or a staircase build. it has to be an angled vehicle

Yayy, new run in Terratech on the Lathland channel! Base on neither options, I'm worried you'll loose some of the base due to a new challenge. Otherwise no restrictions except only use produced or conquered items. If you need a item you don't have and can't find, you'll be able to use the trade stations as a stopgap for an exponentially larger cost. 1st item costs 100x base cost of raw wood.

Glad to see TerraTech back with all the new stuff they've been adding. I don't know about restrictions, but it would be nice to see the giant, GeoCorp flying parts used as often as possible. I find the "industrial" scale of them amusing on something not really built to that scale otherwise.

I think you should make a base at both places. What's the harm in having MULTIPLE bases for different uses? I think the crafting only restriction would be neat since you could make certain bases for certain crafting and you could have resource mining at one place, use geocorp flying for massive cargo planes, and just bammo

Terratech is a great game to pick up and play for a few hours, get hooked and devote your whole soul to this game! Glad you're back!!

Love this series coming back. I think the venture HQ is going to be a better backyard but the GSO is going to be better to build in and around. Also, I think "crafting only" is a pretty decent limitation, since it's pretty easy to have more money than you could ever spend and basically end up with no limits in what you can build.

so glad to see terratech again. i say NO restrictions on builds and parts so you can build big crazy techs BUT if you see another big scary tech you must fight it for the glory of KORN

I've been subscribed for years and stopped watching for about a year. Now that I'm back I got a ton to catch up on and I'm still subscribed. YT didn't unsub me and I'm glad.

The big blue flat areas next to the first area you showed as a base alternative looks good for building on. All flat, and elevated above most of the enviroment. Also, we need a dive bomber with big, unguided bombs. And preferably some noise makers for the dive!

I'm glad to see Terra Tech is still being updated. I had so much fun with that game. I'll have to revisit it again.

I think the best place to settle would be around (4400, -20000) around 35:00 in the video... there are almost all the biomes and therefore all the resources. but honestly, I'll do it high... because from the moment you put an anchor block, enemies will appear and destroy your base even if you're at the other end of the map... PS: it's great that you resume the adventure on terratech, I love this game... good game!!

I hope they did something about how laggy things get with large amounts of resources. I like how everything is "In World" but having a storage for bases that didn't lag up everything whenever you got close would be a life saver. My frames need saving! Thanks for starting up a new series. It is so hard to find new play throughs of this game.

If your looking for a way to spice up the series like your no buying blocks or other challenges you could try doing faction specific techs; so one tech is entirely geocorp and another is exclusively centre etc
