School bus lane-sharing left and stopping for an amber light. Truck in the wet ... 1. Failed "do not overtake turning vehicle" sign (on MR bus), 2. Overtaking on solid white line, and 3. Ran a red light!
Seems like you slammed the brakes a bit which he wasn't anticipating. As an MR truck driver myself I would've proceeded through the amber light because it is a bit bordering on unsafe to hit the brakes that close to the intersection.
G'day @Lockieez. Definitely didn't slam the brakes on. I was doing a left turn LANE SHARE (using both lanes). If you turn up the vid volume you may hear the indicator was activated for >5 seconds. What you can't tell, is that I had my retarders on for over 5 seconds (which activates my brake lights). [Coach drivers will use their retarders more than their primary foot brakes for a smoother ride, maintaining air pressure, and eco-driving]. ;) PS. I am a heavy vehicle driving instructor :) Thanks for watching.
