Für mich schon jetzt eines der besten Hillclimbvideos wo es im Netz gibt. Diese Dateneinblendung zu den tollen Onboardaufnahmen verleiht dem Ganzen eine besondere Note. Die Strecke ist das Beste was es im Motorsport heutzutage noch gibt. Da kann man diesen ganzen Formel 1 Warmduscher Bullshit vergessen. Danke für das Hochladen dieser tollen Arbeit.

Its a kind of a prototype car especially built for hillclimb. Its a car based on the rules for FIA E2-SS. I don't know how many cars are already build, maybe 10.

In 1955 when the track racing was banned, that was more dangerous. Track racing was basically racing laps on public roads, often passing through towns. Hillcilmb is mostly forest and open field. The chance of crashing into a grandstand was less likely in hillclimb. Obviously nowadays Hillclimb is much more dangerous than track racing, for both drivers and visitors.

By the way the ban on track racing has been lifted in 2007. So it has become legal to race on tracks but there are no racetracks. Building one has so far not been possible because some people feel it will be bad for the environment (same old story). There will probably not be a purpose built racetrack for many years although it is possible.

well, I can say such drive is sick on this road with this speed. When a wheel comes off you are dead, much more dangerous than rally or any road race like monaco/macau or some of the US street races.

Maybe... but only at a fraction of the speed. This car probably generates upwards of 4000 - 6000 lbs of downforce to get that cornering force.

I know, that what i say. I'm talking about nowadays tracks compared to hillclimbs. we're not in the 60's nor in 70s anymore ! Rules should change. I don't understand why swiss fans don't do anything to change the situation... that makes switzerland even more boring for racing fans than it actually is, even though it's a beautiful highly civilized country

I don't understand suiss people : they've ban track racing, but allow hillclimb which are far more dangerous
