O God, you made a horror movie carrie! 😂😂 Those sound effects perfectly blended with the scenes! And now we can say, we are in a creepy misty UK canal/lagoon 😂😂
That magical morning and the running vegetable market in your video looked so stunning! Bangladesh felt sweetest with local fresh vegetable collection and friendliness of people! You made really great videos!
How down-to-earth a person can be! You're awesome. I've watched all of your Bangladesh vlogs but never commented. But today I couldn't resist myself... I appreciate your efforts... Love from the core of my heart.
What a beautiful lady ❤ such a positivity in your eyes 😍 I can listen to you all day long 😊 we are very honoured and happy to have you in our country thank you for traveling in our country 😄
The fibre part of wood apple is a bit bitter & you must have to avoid the seeds as those have sticky gum. We call it বেল in Bangla, pronunciation like "bell", it makes quite tasty dessert with spice & sugar; also you can make smoothie with water or milk with chia seeds. The pitha you took in another boat is we call it চিতই পিঠা, pronouncing like "CHi-toi pitha", this is infact our local version of pancake by rice flour & salt only. It is mostly taken with green chilli & coriander leaves chutney or with molasses/jaggery.
Good thing about your vlogs its not only the natural sites you are visiting but also discovering the local heritages we preserve. This are not common amongst other foreiners except few who just visit the recognised places. Thumbs up for that👍
Wow, this video is amazing! You have such a creative and adventurous spirit. I love how you captured the beauty and excitement of each place you visited. You made me feel like I was there with you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You are an inspiration! 😍

Beautiful presentation of floating markets in Barishal Bangladesh. U really found the raw beauty of Bangladesh. Thanks, and welcome again.Best wishes from Dhaka.
Onec upon a time the whole Bangladesh was like that floating market, even in the centre of dhaka.there was no roads , only boats and boats ,river ,canals. Farmers used to bring the food everywhere.
Actually those wood Apple use to make a juice...mix those with water and uses sugar as needed, it's really make amazing drink which is also good for your digestive system
U had an excellent trip in Bangladesh .....u picturized those lifestyle beautifully .....this area u can compare with Kerala .....mangrove forest not so far from here
usually the wood apples (kodbel) are not eaten like that, rather the inner fruit is mixed with bit salt and chilli flakes/ pepper to counter that slight bitterness. We call it Kodbel vorta (mashed wood apple). Usually street vendors sell these kodbel vortas a lot.
There’s a more beautiful and busy floating market nearby... The place is called Atghar, Kuriana and it specializes mainly on fruit selling so it's even better. We went there last year.
Wood Apple (Bel) is a fruit with unique taste. It is very beneficial for IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). If a person takes this food regularly, his/her stomach keeps sound.
That's not vapa pitha. It's chitoi pitha. Your Bengali language skill is improving 😊. You've covered more places in Bangladesh then most of the native Bengalis. Many thanks for sharing these videos ❤
@@carriepatsalis In Dhaka city during Winter, Vapa pitha (cake) is available everywhere as street food. Puli & pati sapta - 2 other famous winter pitha available in Dhaka city.

Hey Carrie Patasalis, welcome to Bangladesh. Enjoyed your video. The fruit, wood apple you ate is actually a fruit to make juice. With some sugar, the juice is really awesome. You may try some later. Best wishes about on journey in Bangladesh.
I am Bangladeshi, but i didn’t know that there also exists floating market in Bangladesh. When i was in school,i read about a floating market named "Tha Kha floating market of Thailand" and thought that floating market only exists in foreign country. But after seeing your video,i became amazed that floating market existing in my country also! The market's environment is too natural. The boats are making of woods,no artificial products are seen! I have to love my country much and have to know more. Thanks for coming Bangladesh and making this amazing vlog and knowing me that the floating market i read in book not only exists in foreign country but in my country also.❤
@@carriepatsalis another way of eating it is mixing it sprinking some chilli powder, salt and some other spices inside the fruit and mixing it. It is sold as street food in cities
