That judgmental look straight into the soul. That's what a lot of adults did when I was a kid. I remember once my friend and I did something wrong. For three hours we were in our teacher's office and listened to lectures about our behavior. And that was just the beginning. After being punished by school and parents, my mom or dad would often remind me of the mistake I had made. There's nothing worse than being reminded of your past failures. And the funny situation was that we couldn't argue with the adults. You may be yelled at or threatened with punishment. And having truthful evidence that you're right doesn't mean you've won the argument. The adults are still right. That's the irony for a child.

I'll be honest this is accurate. You literally get the belt from your dad. Which is the norm in my day. But if you reach WW2 dads. They literally kick your ass if you messed up.
Truly, kids today know nothing about those days! I am 39 years of age and I can honestly say that I am a decent human being not only because of my parents but also because of my teachers.

Well my Indian parents and teachers taught me using this method. Although I hated them for this but as an adult I'm happy they did it so I won't astray to any bad habits. I'm 22 now.
