I suppose the issue with the turbos is the amount of oil going through, might be there is a significant restrictor in turbos. OR the oil goes so hot that it looses its viscosity and then you guys have these issues. I think the solutions is to feed turbos with coolant lines or cool down the overall temperature and to use 10v50 or 60 oil
So the fittings that bolted to the turbos had like pin hole restrictors. I drilled them out, but it was too late. Spoiler alert they're taken apart at my house lol. Tried to rebuild them but can't find the right size journal bearings. He got new ones though.
I got him on the vs racing turbos now. Haven't finished recording the next video. Might have to make it a quick update. We're waiting on parts from Australia rn. Might be a few weeks..
I agree just get a quality rebuild kit for the turbo's, I do it with all the cheaper turbo's and they have no issues with the better bearings and oil seal rings.
We tried. They are currently apart in my house rn.. the shafts and housing had some pretty bad wear on them. You'll see in the next video, I talked him into just getting some vs racing turbos lol.
