Christians and non Christians paid money for this concert there has to be some level of entertainment. It's not about it being a joke or us not taking a joke.Jesus,his gospels, and his words are not to be joked about period. In no way shape or form and this is a man that has been following God supposedly for YEARS but lately I question it because he is more worldly than ever

I've been to several gospel concerts & I've never seen nothing like this, not even a little bit. This is a show for him, not a worship service meant for God but of Franklin.
It's funny to me that I've never heard a secular song written by Kirk. And even funnier how after 30+ years in the gospel music game, Kirk is STILL being criticized for the way he praises God and engages God's people.
Yes amen.. I still listen to his OLD MUSIC even in concert it was soooo different he would minister to the people, what I see now is him entertaining the people. And yes, we as Christians should have fun but come on. we still do things decently and in order. So sis I totally agree with you

If your feelings about what he did in the video are sincere, show me which passage in the Bible his actions are objectionable to.

I see what you're trying to say. It can if the people are saved and conduct themselves accordingly, but I don't know about the background of the entertainers on that stage. They're a little iffy. This act is more in tune with the strippers and street behavior where they declare that they will never change their ways and keep on doing.

I’d rather hear some old church mothers singing an old hymn. Maybe not that exciting but it is good for the soul, and those words come back to comfort you when going through a trial, all this guitar and drum and stage excitement will do nothing when you need help in your life

I can’t deal with Kirk anymore. I group up watching him and there is definitely a change in his spirit. He doesn’t praise God like he used to, it’s all a show now.

Yep…hearing a lot of devil tones in the music scales. Many “artists” stated that they use frequencies & tones to invoke all sorts of stuff. Just Jesus, nothing else.
I can't judge based off a 30 second clip but what I can say it God does new things give people new revelations on his the Bible should be interpreted and Kirk has always been creative.... This clip may be a skit a demonstration
I’m really disturbed by this. Kirk is playing with fire. The Holy Spirit has definitely left that place. I have to reword this but, sometimes we as a people think entertainment is key. Jesus didn’t come to entertainment us. He was always about His Father’s business. We as a people in this culture need a true revival we have lost site of true worship! The Holy Spirit does the work we are just instruments…❤
Did the spirit speak to you directly about someone else? Because I’m pretty sure the spirit speaks to each individually and it’s definitely NOT to condemn someone else’s praise. Were you waiting in heaven to receive it and saw God send it back? The judgement and assumption is what’s gonna stun most when they see who “made it”. What a horrible take.

Well given the excitement & joy of the momentum, what do you expect the atmosphere should be ? Religious zombies, Catholic Mass or monks at a monastery. You remind of the wife of King David mocking his dance. Where part of the Bible you miss on let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Kirk Franklin has always been a showsman in his concerts & very expressive but always encouraging with his anointed lyrics & praising God. I'd rather see young people having a good time then hanging in the wrong places. But enlighten us.

I remember the old saints in our church would talk about Kirk Franklin. I mean it was impossible not to. This was before social media. They would tell us his worldly and carnal music mixed with gospel messages would hurt the church. I didn’t believe them at the time but now I can see now.

Performances? For 30 years? If I want a performance I'll go see a performer. Not what I want from my preacher/teacher. There's a time and a place for that kind of behavior and this wasn't it.

Every time I hear or see anything from him. I remember back when he first came out and I was listening to a interview with him. He told the interviewer when asked would he ever become commercial if he had to he said no and then he had shocked the world with stomp. He never set right with me. I never seen him as a man of God and I was a child when he came out. But if you feel like this is the god you and him serve them ok . Save or no it's not my busy cause the God the rest of us serve ain't happy with this playcation!!!!
