always rgought that griffiths was as good as steve davis but i think the nerves seemed to get to him sometimes - you can see here how good he was, even when he was well past his best

Griffiths was unlucky to have an up and coming player called Steve Davies to contend with otherwise I sure he would of added to his 1 world championship
