So good to see nige and lewis with terry cos they were every bit as dedicated and successfull on yateley are terry was but sometimes dont get the recognition sometimes all three are fantastic anglers and part of one of the greatest chapters in british carp angling ever

The golden era of carp angling where proper carp anglers caught and fished for proper carp ...👌👍👍well done guys .listen to these stories guys listen to the way these 3 reminisce about how things was then yes we have moved on now but it was more special back then unknown carp - carp that were rock hard to catch which made it so much more special when u caught 1.it's very fast nowadays so many more big carp and much easier to catch. Spent autumn/winter on the Match with the two Pauls, Micky, Spike and the odd visit from Jacko. Different times then, never met such a friendly lot and will never forget the laughs we had, even though we drank for England! Crate of Stella in the winter? yes please ha ha !

I fished the north lake from the Christmas tree swim for 3 days in 2009/10 😀,we paid our respects to BASIL,the weed was insane!,I had carp jumping Infront of me+ between the islands for 48 hours,I tried everything!!!!!,to no avail lol,my mate had a 17lb mirror that came on night 2 with a head of weed lol,it was the 1st take we'd had in 2 days and he came out in socks at 2am ish and went straight in 😂,to this day that lake stands out to me😊, even though I blanked it was £500, well spent 😊 PS I heard the biggest crashes of CARP ever,from the Car Park lake,I doubt I'll ever get there again??,such an iconic venue in WORLD CARP Angling 😊.
