Uhm lemme tell ya something, that kid is gonna be one of the best in the league in not the best for years to come, he has it all, great speed, good route running , great hands and spectacular catching ability...whole package
he should have been in the ROY discussions, almost 1000 yards and he missed a game or two in a run heavy terrible offense...his numbers are very similar to AJ brown
That's the game where I saw the first spark in Haskins. I saw how he was overthrowing his receivers, but he was making the right reads, every single time. It made me think that the game hadn't "slowed down" for him yet, but once it does, he's going to be an excellent QB. On some of those throws in this video, he was throwing flat footed, with a guy in his face or on one where he's running for the sideline, then ala Rothlesburger, he pulls up and nails a perfectly thrown dart to Scary Terry for the first down.
After watching tape of the entire season, I counted at least 4 TD's McLaurin was wide open on, and the ball was overthrown, or just missed. Some more consistent QB play, and he'll be in the top 3 wide receivers in the league. HTTR
I do agree that top 3 is mighty ambitious a prediction though but man this kid is polished beyond his years. i could see top 5 in a couple years if any of the other candidates aren't on their P's and Q's
If he can “keep” improving. Haskins got better every single game last season. People forget he only started 14 games at Ohio state. If he can keep on the trajectory he was headed last season Haskins to scary terry will be a deadly combo for the next 10 years. *not a redskins fan
It might just be confidence in his contested catch ability, but he saved so many interceptions. Excited to see what he'll do with a year under his belt now. I'll never forgive myself for benching him against the dolphins in fantasy. Lmao
Mike Sneed trust me this coming from a wft fan he’s the real deal would’ve went for 1k+ on any other team last year but it’s all good you gon see sunday
He's my keeper this year in fantasy.. I still remember, week 1 or 2 last year, on the waiver wire, when it was Marquise Brown, John Ross and "Scary Terry".. I was lucky putting McLaurin as my #1 priority...
Derrick Sims coming from an osu u fan - just be patient w parris!! he is a incredible wr in his own rights, some just pick up on the nuances n details of the league quicker. however, i do believe parris will he a good wr for your orginization in the near future.
Well, it's a bit early to say that. The jury's still, out on Parris Campbell. He was OSU's best WR for a reason. He's a monster after the catch. He'll be fine. He got hurt, last season.
Carlos Carson numbers wise no. Campbell is the first OSU receiver to go for 1,000 in 1 year since 2003. Mclaurin was a ridiculous playmaker but often underutilized.
Now just imagine decent QB play this season with that defense and coaching staff.. Last year he had below average Qb play at best and putting that lightly. He pretty much put up 1000 yards with that so this year with consistent QB play he will have 3 to 4 big games.
There's a new crew in town. Let's give them a chance before painting them with the same brush as the previous management was. A great Coach and GM combination can really turn this whole ship around, and with the nice collection of young talent they're building, they are going to be contenders, sooner or later.
zepsett we don’t like to think like that no more because we got used to thinking like that every year before the season start and every year we are let down smh
washington needs to draft one of these big wrs this year... terry is very good, but im not convinced hes a true 1, hes not of the a brown jjones build... hes closer to djax or pierre garcon, who we've both seen in wash and know they arent true 1s but maybe the leagues best 2s in their prime
Your tripping he’s 6’1 runs and 4.3 and a great route runner that barely drops balls..he’s built like the typical receivers plus he’s drama free and puts in work..would’ve had way more than a thousand yards his rookie year if he didn’t miss a game and switched QB 3 times last year plus switched coaches throughout the season..He’s going to be a #1 receiver for time to come
Why are people so high on Dk, terry and him basically had the same stats and terry missed 2 games, and compared to everyone else his quarterback play was not as good as theirs. So I would do this 1.Aj brown 2. Terry McLaurin 3. Deboo Samuel 4. Dk metcalf 5. Darius Slayton
