You cannot convince me that these two didn't have something going on behind the scenes. The way he looks at her.... he completely ADORES her and you can tell. They literally radiate love anytime they look at one another. Also at 0:36 she intentionally grabs Tony's hand and puts it on her waist. Like is that normal? And he completely obliges. It's literally a cast photo. There's absolutely no need or reason to be all lovey dovey but yet Kerry is like "no, your hand belongs here at my waist." And Tony is like "yep, 100% agree."
@@emilyhorlacher8660Also, it is a co-star & nobody can 100% state that she would actually date a happily married Tony. They had chemistry, respected & trusted each other. This is why their marketing strategy & good acting made the show a big success. Bravo! to them.
All I’m going to say is, it’s rare, very rare, to have the type of electric chemistry they have and not have been intimate with each other behind the scenes. RARE! 😂 I’m not a person that ever gets invested into tv characters but this show had me fully invested and I believe these two had a fling at some point during the years, but they stopped it before they really caught feelings. So they were able to be playful with one another and still like each other. But something happened. Even if it was just an offscreen kiss or two, or ten 😂...the way he touches her and she’s comfortable with it, not a flinch in site. And he just naturally goes in because he knows he can with the cheek kissing and body touching during photo shoots, and don’t get me started on how they eye each other down.. Why didn’t she have this much chemistry with other costars? And vice versa for Tony.

After years of hearing about this show I finally watched it last weekend and I’m disappointed at myself for not watching this show sooner o dear their chemistry is unmatched. U could tell they are close friends offscreen.
Best chemistry i've ever seen on any tv show an i'm an avid tv watcher lol. God would have to come down and tell me himself that these two aren't in love with each and i'm not talking about a friendship type of love lol. The thing is they have chemistry on and off screen the way he looks at her and touches her its so genuine. He just gushes anytime they are around each other they have a real connection.
I just starting watching Scandal and it really opened my eyes as I had given up on TV shows with all the killing and horror. The love for Olivia and Fitz is really really really good and weaves in nicely in the series. I am truly addicted and Scandal was a mix of all kinds of entertainment. Truly GREAT job to the casting crew for Kerry and Tony and how well they just go together. Tony is that guy !!!!!!!!! In my next life, I want to be Olivia......
The chemistry between Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn is just 100% electric. Can work out how much I couldn't watch this man in "Ghost" but can't take my eyes off him in "Scandal" .
They have the same type of electric chemistry as Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln on The Walking Dead. It feels so real and they are great friends in real life that adore one another. Off screen the the looks and touches, hugs and kisses and nothing but praises.
The respectable friendship, built trust, and commitment to their jobs made it easier to play these scenes and the difficult ones that they were shouting at each other. Excellent acting.

Do Danai and Andrew kiss and touch on each other as much/openly in the same way as Kerry/Tony do? Not exactly, no. But they are always holding hands, hugging, holding each other, touching each other, acting like work wife/husband, looking at each other affectionately and even flirtatiously, etc.
Wasn't sure if I was going to believe their chemistry on the show, I just started watching scandal I'm in the second season,but they totally work together . Tony is so charming and handsome how can you not fall for him.
Their chemistry is bigger than both of them. We witnessed unveiling their naked truth. This hunger is of the past and runs very deep. They exchange a healing balm, only our ancestors can feel. His tenderness is truly transparent and is reaching her ancestors' bruised souls. We bear witness that color has no barrier, and love has no limitations unless the human race place them there ❤
Would you be happy if it happened to you in real life? But, after seeing the Turkish shows, maybe Hollywood needs to tone it down. We do not have to see people making out half naked, tongue kissing to sell a movie. Or show. The Turkish shows are romantic in a very suttle loving way. I like that!
By laughing off those awkward scenes, get dressed and move on. In any case they had clothes on. We are just shown the top part to make it seem real. Not forgetting the room is full of the crew… Nothing romantic! They are also committed to their real life spouses. Respect to these two. A lot of trust between them and the Director of the scenes. They always hailed & trusted Executive Producer & Director Tom Verica.

@@LucidKay9114 She is married to former NFL player turned actor producer Namdi since 2013. She was pregnant twice while on Scandal. They have a son and daughter. Some of those love scenes Kerry was pregnant.

Right! Huck was back there like look at my adorable co-stars flirting off set again. The other guy knew too but her reaction was full of envy/ deep hatred and that simply was not the time or place to express her discontent whether she agreed with their actions or not. Her job was to promote the show, so she should have smiled and went along or ignored it. The eyeroll was totally vile.
I noticed usually people who are really good friends in real life usually play good partners on screen..Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate winslet are great friends....other on screen couples that are friends in reality..very interesting to me..

Tony says that they have”weird chemistry”that how he describes it, they naturally communicate without talking and that he does not really understand it or like talking about it or delving into it too much or analyzing it because that may jinx it and they don’t want to lose it. I thinks that’s the superpower they don’t question it they just go with it.

TBH, he's hella affectionate with her, and the chemistry is there for sure, but I see something more intimate in the gazes between Danai and Andrew from TWD. These two are more overtly physical more often and freer in what they say to/about each other, but Danai and Andrew's gazes and the ways they look at the other person when the other person isn't looking hit different. 🤔Andrew's British, though, so that might explain a bit of the restraint he has (though I only mean compared to Tony, as Andrew is affectionate to Danai quite a bit). Tony gives me handsy with neutral eyes while Andrew gives me slightly more retrained with hungry eyes. Interesting nonetheless!
Totally unrelated to " terry" whom I love !! But you know who I wonder about? Darby Stanfield. She is never on any of the video chats they have or when they meet up she is never pictured. Not even when the whole cast went to mexico that time. What's up, why is she acting like she ain't family?
After Scandal, Darby has been working in Toronto for 3 years and she has no opportunity to see cast. But she congratulates them on their birthday and always communicates with them in the comments on Instagram. Tony is now also working in Toronto on his new TV series and he and Darby had the opportunity to meet. They both posted the photos together on Instagram. Just follow them on their social networks. Darby is very active in communicating with cast. Like all the guys on April 29 congratulated her on her birthday. 🤪✌️ Scandal is a fam!!! ❤️
