I think I must have watched this 100 times by now. Martina and Terry, your connection and body communication in this dance is epic. You are complete equals technically and musically, lobbing the instrumental phrases back and forth in a synergistic, amplifying crescendo that peaks for me at 2:03-2:11, which has got to be the most magical moment I've ever witnessed on a dance floor. Bravo, brava, bravissima!
@Martina Everytime I saw you dance at SOS it makes me smile, your musicality was a pure inspiration. Your dance with Terry was mind blowing - two of the best in the world, literally
it was amazing Martina, first time I cannot take eyes off the lady, normally Terry is just too good and dominant where's here you're the star of the dance)
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I think both Terry and I in this dance connected very much with each other but through the music. Music is the common ground where we usually meet so it's easier for me to follow him if I'm connected to it, because I will know where his mind is. Hope to catch you around on some dance floor soon!
Coming back to this... 02:00 ... Frankly, since Martina and Terry danced it this way, there is no other way to dance this song. If you're using any other move, you're doing it wrong.
Michael Jordan used to sometimes shoot free throws with his eyes closed because he had become bored with his ordinary excellence. 3:27 - 3:29! WTF! How does one even come up with a move like this? So bored with his excellence, Terry has to invent ways to spice it up. Amazing dance!
+salsadancer00 Pfff. that's easy. You just stop thinking about what you should be doing and just have fun. All this becomes intuitive once you stop caring.
