They were behind but not so much that their solo laners can't carry them. If they were in asian teams, the other solo laners would have been able to win those games. They may not be guma or ghost level in playing weakside but they did well enough not to make the game overly one sided. That third game... humanoids mistake in the early game that net the enemy team 3 kills made it too hard to comeback... especially since he ain't that good as taliyah.. EU's rising talent pool can't get to MSI, so SK rising talent pool went for EU... :/

Jun played rly well and in defense of Noah they played losing matchup every single game. Humanoid was fed but on the other side he made some questionable decisions aswell.

@baconoftheark I'm saying this cause blg were second seed last MSI and TES is second this MSI.They lost a game to golden guardians at play ins while TES dropped a game to fnc. looked significantly worse than GENG. (Both geng and blg faced g2 and c9 at msi playoffs. Geng did better vs those teams than blg did). But then shocked the whole world by getting 3-0ed by BLG anyways

This time it might be different cause last years BLG didnt really have any MAJOR international chokers. TES has Tian who always shits the bed so we’ll see. Its gonna be fun watching GEN vs Tian, and see who is true choke god. But yea, GEN has yet to defeat an LPL team in a bo5.

@@maxsmith8357 The only Bo5 GenG has ever beaten an LPL team was under the Samsung banner in 2017. They beat World Elite 3-1, and some of the wins weren't convincing lol. GL GenG, don't choke again after you beat T1 in Bo5. GenG regularly lost to Uzi's team for some reason. It seems like Ruler has a mental block against Uzi.

He couldn't get more than 2 auto attack on any teamfight in the whole 3 games. This was the biggest ADC gap for a fnatic ADC ever. Don't know what you were watching but exchange ADC and this was a clean 2/0

Agreed. I’d say they didn’t manage to play well enough during laning phase in the bottom lane. But I mean they didn’t have the easiest matchup either. Can’t blame it on Noah or botlane solely even though they could have played it better
