@@svachdog1719 trust, it'll come back. Riot Games is funding their whole thing, so they literally HAVE to release the game soon (soon = 0.5 - 2 more years lol) but it sounds like a beta is for sure coming first half of next year
Although the game is a browser game, it is very high quality and smooth. We had a lot of fun trying it out and I hope it becomes a better game in the future. Waiting for the full version!
So we have Minecraft, Hytale, Vintage Story, Reforj, Lay of the Land, Skyverse and now Tesera. What in the world is going on? Did everyone decide to create their own voxel game recently? Was it because of Hytale? This is crazy.
My opinion - because MC progress is in its community works, java mods, and not in vanilla. Btw members of tesera dev team love VS and are waiting for all other games you mentioned
Really nice game! It's especially cool you can run it on the browser, I just hope you release it on Steam or on Itchio or some major platform so you get more recognision and players!
The fact that Hytale has been stagnant with zero updates, has completely lost its opportunity to interest or hype people up- someone else just came in and made their own because they were tired of waiting

Первую половину трейлера я пытался понять: это новая игра или ребрендинг хайтейла? А вторую половину трейлера я думал, что будет весело поиграть в это с друзьями. Судя по трейлеру это будет очень хорошей игрой, даже не верится в то, что она будет бесплатной.
Сорри, это неточность, забыли убрать - игра сейчас бесплатная, потом это будет премиум как майнкрафт и vintage story. Способы играть бесплатно останутся, просто кто-то из компании друзей должен будет владеть игрой.
medieval vibe is only in the first part of game, pretty soon players will encounter more advanced tehnologies though we're thinking about option to limit tech level for RP worlds
ngl, i was wondering if a company would come along and just do this exact thing. Hytale seems to be taking forever n who knows, this might eat its lunch. Its been like 5 years since the game was announced n nothing. I welcome a replacement if they can do it better and faster.
We're not positioning ourselves as a replacement for Hytale. Like many others, we're just waiting for its release. We have our own path, and Tesera is in many ways very different from what Hytale will be. However, we will try to surprise players and are always open to discussion and constructive criticism.
There are already several teams like ours, and one of them already released great game - Vintage Story (love it!). There are few established games (like ex-minetest). Hytale is just biggest funded project that people were waiting for longest period of time, stealing all the HYPE for themselves without public updates :(
that is actualy good game im glad i see and play that game as a alternative of mc with friends without need a premium problem but the servers needs pretty much upgrade the lag and ping is insane if possible try to fix it im sure some people will be mindful and help this matter👍 keep it up
I don't understand why you'd basically just take Hytale and try to make it 'first.' Why not create your own vision and your own game instead? Because when Hytale DOES come out, nobody will be playing this... it's weird and a little sad.
We're not trying to make Hytale before Hypixel does. Our game is about something else altogether. Just because of the fact that the only things people hear about are minecraft and hytale, a lot of people compare any new game in a similar genre to them. However, we are more inclined to be going the way of Vintage Story and aim to take our place somewhere on their level
@@tesera_game You're not being honest with yourself if that's your answer. It's visually 98% the same as Hytale and the animations are very similar to what was shown in the trailer. You can lie in replies but the evidence is so obvious like.. come on.
@@PedroHenrique-ko8to There's having competition and there's blatantly trying to look exactly like somebody else's visions. These human models looks pixel for pixel like how Hytale stylized theirs... There's a RIGHT way and a WRONG way to do this.
@@PlayfulFruitLPer there are other dev teams like Vintage Story (great game!), and they even have ex-hytale employee. There's no monopoly on "old MC fans decided to make their own game using BlockBench models". If you try to make human model using BB, it might look same, even if it has different proportions and texture resolution
Thank you! It's a totally custom engine, made it from scratch. For models we're using Blockbench - special editor for minecraft-like models made fully out of blocks.
