You can literally buy solar shingles right now. FSD beta is by far the most capable driver-assist system in existence. Space exploration is a very complex and non-repetitive process, so, it can't help in space exploration. Yes, it can be used in subterranean tasks. No, it can't be used where radiation is a threat because again nuclear science is a complex and non-repetitive process. No, it can't be used in security or policework because policing is a very weird field actually because police need to interact with humans and act accordingly, I don't expect it to be able to effectively communicate with humans while policing and BTW karens also exist, so... Yes, it can be used in the mining industry and in the manufacturing of almost all consumer goods because some consumer goods are too hard to manufacture. No, it can't be used in the construction of homes because architecture is a complex and non-repetitive process. I think you're overhyped about this. When I searched the term on google I didn't find anything besides it being the title of a book on Amazon. And even there it seems to be more about AI being deployed in real world "products" as opposed to simply being limited to physical machines such as self driving cars or robots. So when google maps is using AI to recommend you the fastest route that is a program utilizing AI 'in the real world'. When Amazon recommends you buy someone that's a real world product. When Facebook is recommending new friends to you that is about real people. All of these systems get better the more information is provided to them, as is typical for AI. They aren't attached to physical machines that can chase you down but I'd think they can also be exploited, e.g. using AI based facial recognition (like the one Facebook uses) to find people who don't want to be found.

@@JB-zn9ql the self-driving computer is the same computer used in this robot, and this robot honestly does not have very complicated mechanics. Boston Dynamics can build them for about $40,000, I'm sure that in 10 years you could probably get one of these for about $30,000, with the self-driving computer built-in that does all the AI processing. To be fair this is not going to be something like from irobot, at first it's just going to be very simple. It will be like having a 7-year-old kid who can do repetitive tasks for you. Things like picking up a wire and twisting them together repeatedly, maybe washing the dishes, something that can be learned since in algorithm to wash dishes is not much more intensive than driving a car... It really just depends. Realistically 30 to $40,000 is very doable.

@@JB-zn9ql the first few Tesla prototypes cost over 5 million to build, and now they're down to 35 or $40,000. At first it will cost millions of dollars and the likely get the cost down to about 30 or $40,000. Of course, it's actually going to be about 10 years until AI gets to the point where they can do these kind of tasks, right now they've barely touched ai. They've almost completed their self-driving, and it's roughly on par with a human driver now, which means it's almost ready for release. But it's going to be a while before they learn how to develop various tasks quicker.

It probably will be even for free, but on agreement that you won't complain if it'll break some of your plates and couple of times wash your cat in washing machine.

Try 20k with 200 a month charging bills and several thousand dollar repairs for a low end model. It’s more valuable than a car. It can wait at your job and go in for you or just do your job from home while you do whatever. it could be a million and people would buy it. The one we get will be baseline, maybe can do homework and put up groceries. We will watch RU-vid videos about what type of robots billionaires own.
