Anna Elizabeth They seem like legitimate questions to ask to have things clarified for people who know nothing of Tesla and Elon who will see these headlines and wonder. That’s typically a huge reason why people agree to be interviewed. To promote and give there side of the stories that are headlining. This gives Elon a chance to give his side of the story. If not for these questions he wouldn’t be able to do that on a mainstream platform.

I would have paused the interview right there and invited her on a tour of the factory. Then sent her to take a tour of 4 different car factories, then made her come back to resume the interview, after she finished her homework. I've worked there. The conditions are not worse than other similar sites. I think they're much better. Plus, they've got free drinks, coffee and cereal. IBEW is living in the past. What more do you want? Diapers? Anyone who's over 18, upon using their common sense, should have no problem working there. What a waste of time with that 'question'!

Because oil industry is definition of being subsidized. “A 2016 IMF study estimated that global fossil fuel subsidies were $5.3 trillion in 2015, which represents 6.5% of global GDP” - Wikipedia. Check it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_subsidies Aren’t you angry at what happens to your taxes? And Tesla is growing over 100% year over year (101k cars made in 2017, 81k cars only in q3 so it must be over 200k in 2018, if they keep the current speed it will be over 400k in 2019 and than they start factory in China) so it is startup. It doesn’t matter that they are worth so much, if you grow by 100% per year it is startup. Growth cost money and they sell every single car at great proffit.

The least 60Minutes can do for elonmusk is adhere to his request to make his full interview public in the interest of full transparency. He asked for it to be public on his official twitter account. He gave you his time, something very limited, and we as viewers would like to hear all the stories. Not just the one you told on air. Thank you.

I work as a service tech in a dealership and use to solder boards for Plexus, Tesla is nothing toxic compare to my dealership and my dealership isn't even that bad

MARIUS MANCI Yes. He's made it very clear that he believes people must work long hours to make a difference in the world. As a Tesla employee, if an employee at Tesla do es not believe in the mission of Tesla, and is not willing to sacrifice for it, they should leave. It was made clear to me and I believe to others at Tesla as well that employment at the company means long hours. It comes with the job description.

Not necessarily true that just by living in the factory that he would be breathing in the fumes. The allegations may be from workers immediately adjacent to some piece of equipment or operation that was putting out the fumes. I'm assuming Musk had some office in the same building as the factory, but that office could have easily been completely isolated from any fumes that the workers on the floor were inhaling.

Matt Garcya I have not worked in the tesla factory. But I have worked in a factory and let me tell you management does not care about you. I also have done my research on the files anynomus hacked. And I slowed down the video too. 25 and watched his facial expressions. He is clearly recalling those events in his mind. And his face shows contempt arrogance and fear.

Do YOU know how many ambulance calls there have been to Tesla? What about your local McDonalds? If you had a company that employed 50000 people, how could you possibly keep chart on such minute details about everyone? Oh and 100 ambulances in 15 years doesn't sound much in a car factory. Zero fatalities right? And compare that to GM.
