whoever made the cybertruck mod forgot that actual crash physics. Sure, the cybertruck was designed to withstand damage, but it isn't withstanding a crash directing into a brick wall at 100+ MPH.
I think the keg throw can be done better, where it wasnt so much a throw as it was a spike. You should raise it up so the cars hit it squarely instead of deflecting it down into the ground. That is the reason the truck lost, even though it had alot of speed and weight.
The keg one would need to be re-tested to where all of them actually hit it *forwards* instead of downwards for most. Not nearly as fair for the taller cars when the shorter ones get to smack it much farther. I would expect the cyber truck to do *much* better than it did if you fixed it.
As heavy and indestructible as the Cybertruck is, my evil little brain is actually eager to see what happens the first time one of these gets into a bad public accident.
Well, unlike the bullshit you see in whatever game he's using, it WON'T CATCH FIRE. Kinda hard for an electric engine to ignite and explode, ya get what I mean? No gas, no fumes, no boomy. If the brake fluid and stuff got hot enough, MAYBE some flames at the wheel. Other than that, nope!
@@noahimhere Okay, so, TECHNICALLY, yes a battery can explode, but it doesn't explode like a combustion engine, it's more like a steam engine, it's less kaboom and more spraying hot-as-hell liquid on your skin.
@@ShwappaJ have you seen the tesla S batteries bottom out before they put a titanium sheet to protect the battery? Its the same explosion, its not a phone battery kind of battery (which is made of lithium, which CAN be "less kaboom and more spraying hot-as-hell liquid on your skin")
It’s interesting how big of a whoop they’re making this cybertruck to be. Here’s the deal if you’re going to make an electric truck make it work like a truck. Instead of putting an atv into the bed, how about some tree branches, or some scrap metal. Is there even a bed cap for it. The cybertruck isn’t something a plumber, welder, or landscaper is going to use. It’s just another big toy Edit: I just saw a picture of the camper they made for the cybertruck and yeah it looks like the Pokémon Onyx on wheels
TBH, battery-operated electric trucks are kinda dumb... one way forward for USA to move to electric would be a sort of trolley-trucks, with infrastructure so they can run off the grid, and with a much smaller battery, which, rather than lasting 300km, lasts 50km for the round trip to and from the overhead cable endpoints.
At 2:42 when the v8 gets louder than usual maybe it's because upon the crash when the car fell perfectly on it's wheels the exhaust got bend and damaged so when the truck started the throttle you get a un-muffled gmc v8 that sounds amazing

Tbh, you ought to rerun the impact test. Every car has a different height off the ground. Why not adjust the parameters of the experiment to level the keg with each car's 'sweet spot'. As in the centermost point on the Y axis. It'd take work, but the only dependant variable is the elevation at which you set up the keg.
8:37 Probably because the ground clearance is a lot higher than SUPERCARS so it can’t hit at the right height of the can thing you were using. So yeah, didn’t go very far
