Great video - in the similar position with 2017 P100D S - No camera invite yet and maintained 98 Safety Score driving across the country and back. We also had 2017 X 100D in same position but traded that car last month before I ever got camera upgrade or FSD Beta. So frustrated with Tesla - just sick of how we are treated. Have bought 4 teslas so far (S, X, 3 and Y) and still treated like garbage by Tesla. Probably will just sell my S - just too annoying.
I am in the same position except it’s a 2017 X. Needs new cameras. Can’t get them installed yet. I heard they were available after the sixth so I have an appointment which has not yet been canceled. Previously they canceled the appointment due to lack of upgrade kit.
Well that sucks! Even if you get the camera upgrades doesn't seem beta is being pushed. Something else unknown to us is holding us up. Communication between HQ and service center is dismal at best.
I bought a Model S with AP2 and Advanced Autopilot in June 2017. I added FSD when the upgrade was $2,000, and bought the MCU2 upgrade too. Just yesterday, my cameras were upgraded. Like you I have a 100 safety score and plenty of AP miles logged……. But, no Beta software. Are you still waiting for FSD? Has anyone with our older cars received Beta after the camera upgrade?
The reason you don't have FSD beta the way I see it and might be wrong but you need to have the inboard camera installed. Do you have that already installed?
