Tried it yesterday, worked perfectly in between 2 cars and also in another situation where there were no cars around. Happy to have it, can’t wait for the summons to be back.
Lots of people said vision based parking is crap and that it’s such a shame Tesla removed sensors. I got the new 2024 model 3 and can say it’s amazing. It’s precise. Sees everything around me.
@@squishykoolaid5286The car's (or any Tesla's) cameras have excellent grey vision, meaning they can see objects in fog sooner than humans would be able to. Teslas are usually able to drive in rain, unless it's very very heavy rain, to the point where the cameras are blocked. It drives almost the exact same in any weather conditions as it does when it's clear.
As an aside, people rely on the reliable function of a car all the time...braking, steering, even propulsion when on a busy highway. I'm not yet comfortable with FSD from trying it, but I see no reason that someday self driving won't be as reliable as human driving, which is just different hardware and neural network training.
My Tesla has it because it has ultrasonic sensors. However, I never use it because I can park just fine. Lol. And much faster than the car park. I’m not sure who can drive a car but can’t park it? What would be a great feature is if I could get out of the car in front of the store, and then the car would go park itself. Now that would be awesome 😂
Tesla should compensate those who either pay 12k or reduced subscription price from $200 when the features such as Autopark & Smart Summon are still not useable due to transition from sensor to vision. Just like I purchase combo meal then the franchise owner takes my French Fries away as part of meal feature that I paid for. In that case the restaurant should either compensate me or reduce the price.
I'm using the month's free trial that Tesla is giving with this week's release. I wouldn't say that Auto Park is worth that (though it's worked great so far), just because I'm not willing to pay that much for automatic parking, or even summon and banish. If I felt more comfortable with FSD in the mountains of Colorado, it might be worth it. I'll see how the releases go.
Hopefully the autopark works a lot better in the new release. From other video reviews I've seen, Tesla's autopark was at the bottom of the barrel compared to other car companies.
Worked completely fine for me this morning, into a standard width space between two other vehicles. *shrug*. It'll be interesting to see everyone's experiences.
@@bearcubdaycare Trying picking a random parallel parking space where there are multiple locations or maybe not a curb, or angle parking where you have a choice of several spots but want specifically one of them. Those are where users found difficulties.
@@TeslaFlex Do you know - is it coming to all models? Been waiting to get it on my X since last March. Paid for Enhanced Autopilot - which includes Autopark and Summon, and have been "patiently" waiting since then...
WTF, Tesla has to bring asap all the features. They sold the software and you have paid for it. It is not gift, it is an agreement. We are scammed. Now I am stuck without fsd as well. My next car will not be tesla. Tired with Elon comments. Sorry for Elon enthousiast
@@TeslaFlexThey should really be more clear about what you get for that money and when. Here in The Netherlands they tried to upsell me FSD 3 years ago. We don't have beta so you can imagine how badly it works here. But it was sold as "full features coming soon". Three years later nothing has changed. Had I paid for it back then it would still not have improved by now. For that price that's unacceptable.
Pretty didsappinting for a new Tesla owner to find out the $12,000-$15,000 spent on FSD is useless when autopark, summon, and smart summon don’t work without sensors. Would you agree that no customer should have to deal with that, Tesla or not?
😂 gotta love how a car you own doesn't get all the features it should, but then again you don't really own your battery powered Tesla toy since it can get reprogrammed at any time. Thanks, yet another reason to not get a Tesla. I was all for EV vehicles and a Tesla fanboy, even had 6k in shares early on. Glad I never bought one, glad I sold my shares long before the tragedy of a trainwreckesla unravels. EV market is dying, people are realizing the green scam and the marketing lies we're being pushed about these lithium ion bombs. It makes 0 sense to build a giant battery pack on wheels that can't ever get the range it's supposed to, weighs more than any average vehicle, burns up tires, brakes and has to be plugged in for most of its miserable life. I mean seriously the only bragging rights is fast acceleration, which causes motion sickness in many people and animals. Do you seriously need that daily driving in city traffic? How about crash tests? Deadly multi day fire much? This year's midwest winter showed the achilles heel of EV vehicles, drop the temps and they get too cold to hold a charge let alone take one, spoiler alert: ya need power to warmup and precondition the battery before charging, that's if you can even make it to a charger or have one at home. 😅 don't even get me started on panel gap and build quality. Ya thanks no thanks, can get a used luxury car for a fraction and have enough money to buy gas, registration and insurance for years to come. Don't forget it costs to charge electricity, don't even ask about insuring the stupid car. Fail after Fail after Fail. resale value ~ ?¿
They're not "lithium-ion bombs", the news only covers the couple times that Teslas have caught on fire. Brakes last longer than normal ICE cars because Teslas have Regen braking. Teslas get the range they're supposed to, yes it's less range in the cold, but isn't that similar to any ICE car not being able to start because it's cold?Teslas are one of the safest cars on the road, look at every crash test done with them, the Model X isn't impossible to roll, just very very difficult because of its low center of gravity. You have no points here buddy and you're hating on Tesla for things that either don't exist or that they've fixed 4-5 years ago.
It's included in the month's free FSD trial that I got this morning with the update, but it's shown under Enhanced Autopilot I recall, so that's probably all you need.
@@pinklekhaira9879 got the update to last night. I can confirm it has autopark but there are no specific settings for it. It just appears when you're close to a parking spot.
