Tesla FSD v12.5.1 - We know the highway stack isn't ready yet, I had issues on the highway. The city streets part of the drive was passenger approved. No really big difference from v12.5. Maybe the brake pedal issue was resolved to a degree. Thanks for watching.

Good news for everyone v12.5.2 is being worked tested. Im helping Tesla get data. Its not the wide release for all cars. I'm working to get these videos out asap. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.

@@davidsosnak2968no one has 12.5.2 but the ADAS Tesla Drivers are working on 12.5.2. See Chuck Cook's channel and I'd follow him on X. But once v12.5.2 is released to customers, I'll receive it since they are testing Model Y with Hardware AI4.

FSD v12.5.1, as I test drove it yesterday on my 2024 MYP, has no discernible difference from the FSD v12.5 behaviors.. no wonder @Whole Mars Catalog still hasn't a video about it here www.youtube.com/@WholeMars/videos

Looks impressive. Hopefully Tesla will only stick with minimum software updates. 12.5.2,3,4,5,... etc. Crossing my fingers for more sign ☢️🛑 reading detection. Because that is a major issue that needs help.

not a priority, they could just run a seperate model just for sign detection and solve that. Its harder to get the normal driving task 99.9999% reliable

road closure detection probably needs optical character recognition. Not really difficult to achieve, but it needs to read signs in all languages.

@@tomstaelens7755 yes. It will happen. But also when Tesla has real time fleet communication that is coming soon it will know not to head in that direction.

That interaction with the cyclist was amazing. How cautious it was, giving ample room while understanding the parked vehicles and oncoming traffic. It's getting good. As FSD makes progress it should be phenomenal.

I hope they will sell FSD for around $2000 instead of $8000, which is too expensive for most people.

@@path2049 how much would it add to your car payment over 5,6,7 year payment? Or at $99 a month you can use it when you want to use it most. Really depends on how long you keep your car. At $99 it would take just under 7 years to meet the $8k cost. Let me know what you think. Or Find a 2017/18 used model 3 with FSD and then sell that car and transfer FSD to a new Tesla. That offer expires at the end of Q3 I believe.

Did anyone notice with 12.5.1 (or even earlier versions) that while driving on highways it keeps on driving on passing lane and not moving unless a car is coming behind? Can anyone suggest to set FSD so that it can change lanes? Or is this problem with FSD?

Well the highway stack will be updated to new City Streets architecture very soon. In the menu you can toggle minimal Lane change before your drive. I have had that on and off and can tell. Also maybe play with Chill, Average or Aggressive driving or whatever that is call now. But I believe you are correct it may stay in that lane. You change lanes by the turn signal if you need to. I have an area by my house that is at the speed limit and doesn't speed up to my liking so I have to tough the go pedal. Otherwise my drives have been great.

Was really hoping for something good with this version, but within 1 min, dangerous approach to cyclist, and disengagement unable to handle a road closed. So bad

@@JamesBond-qv2ht it was unsafe how close it got to the cyclist. Why didn’t it hang back earlier as it was making a left turn in 100yds? There’s no way a competent driver would have ever done that.
