I picked up a used 2018 Model S with 51,000 miles for $48,999 with enhanced auto pilot and 21 inch wheels and I'll take that over a model 3 or Y any day of the week. IMO the model S looks better than the 3 or Y, I love having the additional display, I really like that the MCU is built in rather than the look of an ipad that's bolted to my dash. I'm 6'7 and the model S has more legroom, the model s stands out more, is more fun to drive and I prefer the portrait MCU display instead of the landscape one. It's easier to keep your eyes on the road looking at a portrait screen.
@@rodneuer4600 Congrats. prices are going way down on older model S's. I sold my 2018 and got a slightly newer 2018 cause it had free FSD with the 21-inch arachnid black wheels and was a P100D. I can't go without a sunroof and the newer ones only have a glass roof and no stalks and the horn is a tiny button on the steering wheel so I'll probably drive my 2018 till the battery dies than just replace it and keep rolling in ludicrous plus mode 😎😎
No pockets - means a clean car. I`ve just sold my Tesla M3 LR 2021 and bought back S75 early 2018. I`m 6,1 foot high and the M3 felt too smaal. One more thing is after Tesla upgraded the screan it takes too long time to turn on the wipers. The automatic function is not fast enough and in my opinion it is dangerous! Tesla seems to have forgot that Tesla also is sold not only in sunny California. I live in Norway and I`m happy i switched back from Model 3 to Model S.
Wow so you went back! I would really love to try the new S. Sat in one, never drove. Want to see the window as a driver on the X. Sat, again, but never drove. I just bought a model 3! Love it. I'm a bit taller than you but find myself comfortable in the 3. I have the seat nearly all the way down though. Wish the headrest weren't angled as far forward but I can change that.
A little trick I learned from my iMiev charger.. The button on the charger has a little hole in it. If you put a small sylinder or something into there, it should do the same job as the red ring you tried using👌🏻
You can make an objective observation with utility and function without being a crybaby. If anything, your comment is more crybaby like since it's just whining with no useful input whatsoever.
I get it, you hate the car lol. I had a 2014 MS P85. I lived it! I'm torn between features in the years. If I got a 2019 or newer. I would have a little more feature options.
Ha, price really depends. I think a new 3 is worth it if you can. If you can get an older S, I feel like a new 3 isn't out of reach but the prices are hard to target. I got a 3. They hold value all too well for now.
@@JSteezy Well, test drove a 2018 S. While all your points are all quite valid, the biggest killer for me is just how bad the car sounds when you open and close anything. Loose panel corners are pretty sad as well. That said, as a package, tho, pretty damn nice. :)
