Tesla just opened a brand new supercharger in Pahrump, Nevada! It’s only 8 stalls, all 250kw, so while this might not seem significant, I explain why it actually is.
First, Pahrump is not a big town. It’s an hour away from Las Vegas, and it is the last place you will find any Teslas or Tesla owners.
Secondly, it is on the way to Death Valley from Las Vegas, so we, as Las Vegas residents, now have a place to charge on our way to Death Valley without having to make an hour detour to Beatty, Nevada!
Big shoutout to the Tesla Las Vegas team - they’ve been adding a ton of superchargers over the last few months in and around Vegas!
