@@chriswhynder8311 nothing really but his schedule is 12 hours working half the year. So basically he will lose his overtime pay and that will suck big time. I have the same schedule at my new job and it allows you to make more money. For example I made 61k net for 2023 only working half the year. My friend makes more than me. He told me he made 100k something but with 8 hours he won’t make that in just half a year.

I drive a 37 year old gasoline truck and it’s never needed any expensive repairs to keep it running, just minor repairs and maintenance, I’m pretty sure I would not be able to hold onto an EV for that long without changing its very expensive battery!

I like EV. They perform better. Gas trucks are “emotional support vehicles” for middle aged white men..

Eventually we'll have to go to electric cars in the future. There isnt an infinite supply of dead dinosaur around the planet. Also with tensions in the middle east, gas prices will probably cripple the American economy.

Electric cars are not really competition as few people actually want them and those that did have already bought one. People are just elaborating on this simple and obvious scenario for screen and waffle time. The governments do not know what they are doing and if our current UK government plan did work which is everyone using and loving EVs powered only by wind turbines it would be a first if not a miracle.

And if Tesla's market share in China drops, so does its stock, and Elon Musk lays off people in a typical executive knee-jerk reaction.

My buddy sold his house in Reno and was in the process of buying a new house in California because they gave him a relocation package so he can find out he no longer has a job right after he put a deposit down on the new home.
