My co worker let me drive his model 3 standard from 2019....and I loved it! I now am waiting delivery on a 2024 M3P and cannot WAIT. Goes to show that people need to test drive to really get the feel. I did not get the Tesla for the environmental impact...I got it because it was amazing to drive.

I love the silence. In my younger years the loud exhaust was a must. I can still appreciate a great sounding engine but the stealth driving has saved my ass more than once already where a loud car surely would've alerted authorities. Plus during daily driving its soothing.
Even from my earliest driving days I have loved quiet cars and motorbikes. I have never seen the point of a noisy exhaust. Now in my EV I can actually hear the radio as i drive along, and speak to my passengers in a soft voice, no need to shout.

Unfortunately my Model 3 is not the year for which that relay works. There's a different one that unlocks the acceleration boost, but I plan to buy the official acceleration boost from Tesla 👍👍👍

I got a used Model S to ride share it in a state where EVs aren't that common. I've gotten almost every reaction imaginable, from positive to negative. However, I have yet to encounter someone who complains that the car underperforms in any aspect.

Sounds to me like this young man driving needs to be taken to a Tesla supercharging station after getting some Chick-fil-A or the like to eat while charging. Or leave it charging and walk over to get something to eat. Both times the charging will have completed before they're finished eating.

Maybe the Hyundai ionic N would be more up his alley, i believe they have some fake engine noise, not sure about the gear stick. Barbarian should test drive one with this guy. Supposed to be their fastest.
